Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gert nicht benutzt wird, da das Gert keinen An-/Aus-Schalter besitzt. Bereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel zu, die zum Backen und zum Verzehr geeignet sind. Die antihaftbeschichteten Platten reinigen Sie am besten mit einem weichen und feuchten Tuch. Benutzen Sie keine metallischen, spitzen und kratzenden Hilfsmittel. Das Gehuse kann man ebenfalls mit einem weichen feuchten Tuch mit etwas Splmittel reinigen. Ihr Gert darf niemals ber eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.
(*) Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der fr derartige Reparaturen zustndig ist. Fr eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen Kundendienst.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG Vor der ersten Benutzung wischen Sie die Backflchen mit einem feuchten Tuch ab, um Staub oder Verpackungsreste zu entfernen. Fetten Sie die Backflchen leicht ein. Nach dem Anschlieen des Gertes an das Netz werden die rote (3) und grne (2) Kontrolllampe auf dem Oberteil leuchten und das Gert beginnt zu heizen. Der Regelknopf (4) sollte hierbei in der Stellung 6 stehen. Whrend des Aufheizens sollte das Gert geschlossen bleiben, um einen unntigen Wrmeverlust zu vermeiden. Eventuell auftretender Geruch oder Rauch ist bei Erstbenutzung normal und verliert sich nach kurzer Zeit. Nach Erreichen der Backtemperatur schaltet das Thermostat die Heizung ab und die grne Kontrolllampe (2) schaltet ab. Jetzt knnen Sie mit dem eigentlichen Backvorgang beginnen. Fllen Sie den Waffelteig in die Mitte des Waffelautomaten und schlieen Sie den Deckel. Drcken Sie den Deckel einen Moment fest herunter, damit sich der Teig gleichmig verteilt. Fllen Sie nicht zuviel Teig ein, dieser luft ansonsten an den Seiten heraus. Backen Sie die Waffeln je nach gewnschten Brunungsgrad. Sie knnen dazu am Regelknopf stufenlose Einstellungen zwischen 1 und 6 whlen und auch die Backzeiten variieren. Wenn die Waffel fertig ist, nehmen Sie diese bitte mit einem Kunststoffspachtel heraus. Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder spitzen Gegenstnde, da ansonsten die Beschichtung der Backflche beschdigt werden kann. Die Arbeitstemperatur wird durch das Thermostat gesteuert. Jedes weitere Aufheizen wird durch Aufleuchten der grnen Kontrolllampe angezeigt. Bei Bedarf knnen auch niedrigere Backendtemperaturen mittels Regelknopf eingestellt werden. Der Regelbereich liegt zwischen 1 und 6. Nach Beendigung des Backens ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

HINWEISE ZUR REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE Trennen Sie das Gert vom Netz und lassen Sie es abkhlen bevor Sie es reinigen. Reinigen Sie die Auen- und Innenseite des Gertes nur mit einem Tuch oder Schwamm. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Feuchtigkeit, l oder Fett in das Gert dringt. Reinigen Sie niemals mit metallenen Gegenstnden und verwenden Sie keine Schleif- und Scheuermittel. Reinigen Sie das Gert nie unter flieendem Wasser. Tauchen Sie es nicht in Wasser oder andere Flssigkeiten.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. When giving your appliance to a third person, make sure to give him/her the instruction manual as well. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY) This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded: blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth. The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black. The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red. The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (& yellow). HOW TO BAKE PERFECT WAFFLES Before the first use, wipe the baking plates with a damp cloth to remove all packaging residues. Lightly brush the baking plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil. After having plugged in the appliance, the red pilot light (3) and the green ready light (2) situated on the top cover will illuminate and the appliance will start heating. Put the regulation knob (4) on the "6" position. Leave the appliance closed during heating in order not to avoid a waste of energy. A smell might occur when using the appliance for the first time. This will disappear after a short while. When the temperature is reached, the appliance stops heating and the green pilot light (2) goes out. Now you can start the baking process. Pour dough evenly onto the middle of the bottom baking plate but not all the way to the edges. Press the lid down in order to spread the dough evenly on the baking plates. Do not overfill as dough might come out of the appliance. Bake until golden brown. The regulation knob allows you to gradually select a position anywhere in between the 1 and 6 positions and to vary the baking times. Remove the waffles with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use scratching objects, as these might damage the non-stick coating. The operating temperature is regulated by the thermostat. The green pilot light comes on every time the appliance will start heating. If necessary, you can also set a lower temperature with the regulation knob. The regulation field is between 1 and 6. Unplug the appliance after use.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the waffle maker is unplugged from the supply socket and fully cooled down. Clean the cooled baking plates with a damp cloth or towel to remove crumbs and absorb excess oil. Do not use abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. You do not need to take the appliance apart for cleaning. To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth. On no account must the appliance be immersed in water.

Veillez ne pas griffer le revtement spcial des plaques de cuisson car vous pourriez alors retrouver des clats du revtement dans la nourriture. Utilisez une spatule en bois classique ou en plastique spcialement tudi pour rsister la chaleur. Nettoyez les plaques de cuisson laide dun chiffon doux humide. Nutilisez pas de paille de fer, dponges rcurer ou de produits abrasifs. Pour nettoyer le corps de lappareil, vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon doux et un dtergent doux. Dbranchez votre appareil lorsquil nest pas en utilisation dautant quil ne comporte pas dinterrupteur. Ne faites cuire que des aliments appropris la cuisson et propres la consommation.

UTILISATION Avant la premire utilisation, frottez les plaques avec un chiffon lgrement humide pour les nettoyer et ainsi liminer les rsidus d'emballage. Enduisez lgrement les plaques de cuisson de matire grasse. Aprs avoir branch l'appareil, le tmoin lumineux rouge (3) et le tmoin vert (2) situs sur le dessus de l'appareil s'allument et l'appareil se met chauffer. Placez le bouton de rglage (4) sur "6". Pendant le prchauffage l'appareil doit rester ferm afin d'viter une perte de chaleur. Lors de la premire utilisation, vous pourrez constater une odeur ou de la fume. Ceci est normal et disparatra rapidement. Lorsque l'appareil a atteint la temprature adquate, le tmoin lumineux vert (2) s'teint. Vous pouvez maintenant procder la cuisson. Dposez un peu de pte au milieu de lappareil et refermez-le. Serrez la poigne un instant de faon ce que la pte se rpartisse de manire uniforme sur la plaque de cuisson. Ne mettez pas trop de pte sinon celle-ci risque de dborder sur les cts. Faites cuire selon vos gots. Le thermostat vous permet de choisir une temprature comprise entre "1" et "6" et de modifier ainsi le temps de cuisson. Lorsque la gaufre est cuite, retirez-la de lappareil laide dune spatule en bois ou en plastique. N'utilisez pas d'ustensiles griffants car ceux-ci pourraient abmer le revtement antiadhsif. La temprature est rgle par le thermostat. C'est pourquoi le tmoin lumineux vert s'allumera chaque fois que lappareil commencera chauffer. Si vous le dsirez, vous pouvez aussi rgler la temprature l'aide du bouton de rglage. La plage de rglage va de "1" "6". Lorsque vous avez termin dutiliser lappareil, dbranchez-le.

NETTOYAGE Dbranchez l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir. Nettoyez les parties intrieures et extrieures avec un chiffon ou une ponge humide aprs les avoir laiss refroidir. Assurez-vous que la graisse ou tout autre liquide n'entre pas dans l'appareil. Nutilisez pas dustensiles mtalliques ou pointus car ils pourraient endommager le revtement antiadhsif de lappareil. Ne jamais plonger lappareil dans leau ou tout autre liquide.

Si vous constatez un dfaut, adressez-vous votre revendeur ou au magasin et retournez l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les rclamations introduites dans le cadre de la garantie sont uniquement valables si le ticket de caisse ou la copie dune facture de rparation ventuelle est joint(e). Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoy, bien emball et dment affranchi avec une courte description du dfaut en majuscules notre service aprs-vente dans notre firme Bad Blankenburg en joignant galement votre ticket de caisse. Si des accessoires sont dfectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplac, mais les accessoires seront changs gratuitement. BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt. Wanneer u dit toestel aan iemand geeft, gelieve de gebruiksaanwijzing altijd mee te geven. Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel vooraleer u het gebruikt. Laat uw toestel tijdens het gebruik nooit zonder toezicht. Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensorile of mentale capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, het toestel niet veilig kunnen gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet zonder toezicht of instructies van een verantwoordelijke persoon gebruiken. Houd kinderen goed in het oog om te vermijden dat ze met het toestel spelen. Controleer regelmatig of het toestel niet beschadigd is en gebruik het niet indien het snoer of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden vertonen maar laat het nakijken en herstellen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst (*). Gebruik het toestel niet indien het zichtbare schade vertoont. Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de gebruiksaanwijzing. Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen (bv. een fornuis). Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt. Herstellingen dienen te worden uitgevoerd door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst(*). Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge ruimte. Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant werden aanbevolen. Dit kan het toestel beschadigen en gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker. Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg ervoor dat het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet. Zorg ervoor dat de warme onderdelen van het toestel tijdens het gebruik niet in aanraking komen met gemakkelijk ontvlambare materialen, zoals gordijnen, een tafelkleed en dergelijke vermits deze in brand zouden kunnen vliegen. Let erop dat u de speciale bekleding van de bakplaten niet schramt, vermits u hiervan stukjes in uw voedsel zou kunnen vinden. Gebruik een klassieke houten spatel of een warmtebestendige plastic spatel. De bakplaten reinigt u het beste met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen metalen schuurspons of schuurmiddelen. De behuizing kan u ook met een vochtige doek en een mild detergent reinigen. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het toestel niet in werking is, vermits het geen schakelaar bevat. Kook enkel eetwaren geschikt om te koken en voor consumptie. Uw toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een externe timer of een separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.
(*) Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder, die erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.

GEBRUIK Veeg de bakplaten voor het eerste gebruik schoon met een vochtige doek en droog deze dan af om stof of verpakkingsrestjes te verwijderen. Vet beide bakplaten in met boter, margarine of bakolie. Nadat u de stekker in het stopcontact heeft gestoken, zullen het rode controlelampje (3) en het groene controlelampje (2) die zich op de bovenkant van het toestel bevinden gaan branden, en zal het toestel opwarmen. Plaats de regelknop (4) op stand 6. Laat het toestel tijdens het opwarmen gesloten zodat er geen warmteverlies optreedt. Tijdens het eerste gebruik zal de antiaanbaklaag gaan roken en kan er wat geur vrijkomen. Dit is niet schadelijk en zal na korte tijd verdwijnen. Wanneer de gewenste temperatuur is bereikt, stopt het toestel met opwarmen en gaat het groene controlelampje (2) uit. U kunt nu wafels beginnen bakken. Giet het deeg op de onderste bakplaat. Giet niet te veel deeg, want anders zou het langs de zijkanten uit het toestel kunnen lopen. Druk het deksel een kort ogenblik naar beneden om het deeg gelijkmatig over de bakplaten te verdelen. Bak de wafels naar believen. U kunt met de regelknop geleidelijk een stand van 1 tot 6 kiezen en de baktijd variren. Wanneer de wafels gebakken zijn, open dan het deksel en gebruik een houten of hittebestendige plastic spatel om de wafels uit het apparaat te halen. Gebruik nooit scherpe of metalen voorwerpen, want deze zouden de antiaanbaklaag van de bakplaten kunnen beschadigen. De temperatuur wordt door de thermostaat geregeld. Daarom zal het groene controlelampje oplichten telkens het toestel opnieuw opwarmt. U kunt de temperatuur indien nodig aan de hand van de regelknop aanpassen. De temperatuur kan tussen 1 en 6 ingesteld worden. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact na gebruik.

REINIGING Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt. De binnen-en buitenkant kunt u met een vochtige doek of spons reinigen. Verwijder de deegresten tussen de groeven. Zorg ervoor dat er geen vet of andere vloeistof in het toestel sijpelt. Gebruik nooit metalen voorwerpen of schuurmiddelen om het toestel te reinigen, want dat zou de bakplaten kunnen beschadigen. Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of enige andere vloeistof.

Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek in Bad Blankenburg. Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
