1 Denition
The feature Subscriber Call Park (SCPK) allows an extension user to park an active call and replace the handset or make a new call. The call may be retrieved from the extension to which the call was parked or any other extension in the local GeoCENTREX group. If a parked call is not retrieved within a predetermined time, the parking extension is called. 1. Active call GeoCENTREX group Parked subscriber Parking subscriber

2 Mode of operation
Parking the active call The GeoCENTREX subscriber may park an active call (talk state) by means a special access code. Only one call per subscriber can be parked. When the parking position is reached, the parked party hears a hold tone or an announcement. The parking party hears a confirmation tone and it is free to place or receive new calls. Recall from the parked call If the parked call is not picked up within a preset time the parking subscriber automatically receives a recall. If the parking partys line is in use when the recall supervision timer expires, the recall attempt is delayed until the line becomes idle. A maximum of three recall attempts are started with recall supervision if the line is in use. If the parking subscriber does not answer when recalled or is still not idle after three recall attempts, the call is released.

Pickup of the parked call by a 3rd station of the local GeoCENTREX group Any 3rd station within the same GeoCENTREX group may pick up the parked call. To do this, the subscriber has to dial a special retrieval access code followed, after the recall dial tone, by the intercom number of the GeoCENTREX station that parked the call. The parked party and the pickup party are connected. No authorization is necessary for picking up a parked call. It is also possible that pickup may be rejected (no parked call at selected subscriber - in this case there is no change at the parked call) or that pickup of the parked call may be unsuccessful (in this case all parties are released). Pickup of the parked call by the parking party This function is not different from the function Pickup of the parked call by a 3rd station of the local GeoCENTREX group. Display for ISDN subscribers After successful subscriber controlled input for parking the call the subscribers display shows Call Parked (with corresponding device, e.g. CenSet). In the event of recall for a parked call, Reminder appears on the display. Capacity The percentages indicate the number of authorized subscribers for the feature within the network node and their simultaneous application. Analog Authorization GeoCENTREX-Subscriber 100% --Use ISDN Authorization 100% --Use

It can be expected that an average of 20 parked calls, which are picked up per from a 3rd station, are active per LTG. The maximum number is 170, for example if no call transfer is active for the LTG.
