Nowadays in Hong Kong, land supplies for residential and commercial developments are imminent issues being dealt with. Apart from making use of rural areas for the developments, cavern and reclamation appear to provide alternatives. What will be the respective engineering challenges concerning Hong Kong engineers? It facilitates a timely opportunity for local and overseas professionals/experts in the conference to share their expertise and practical experience in resolving engineering challenges under cavern and reclamation developments with the illustration of well-selected case studies and to facilitate exchange of innovative ideas.
