Full responsibilities of accepting the new projects starting from the site installations up to start up. Assure compliance with the project specifications, review/assess for safe implementation procedures, and identify the training requirements for the task force, projects hand over from the contractor and sub-vendors into Adma. Identify and develop the maintenance strategy of the new equipment and assure full compliance with the code of practices and local legislation. Review the spares stock level and amend the autonomy level based on the actual consumption. Review the equipment failure frequencies and identify the failure mode Analysis and develop the remedial measures to improve the systems reliability and availability. Recommend the reliability studies for the critical equipment and apply the results to improve the systems integrity. Assess/measure the individuals skills, competency level to identify the gaps and recommend the adequate measures to bring it up to the acceptable level. Review HAZAN/ HAZID/ QRA / SIL assessment of the news & existing equipment. Develop and prepare the training programs for the UAE fresh graduates engineers/technicians with continual monitoring for their progressing during the targeted development period. Implement HSE regulations and ensure the adherence of my subordinates into the regulations in addition to the hired contractors compliance with my employers procedures, standards, systems and local legislations.

Review and evaluate the performance of the control systems and make all the necessary recommendations to modify all kinds of the control systems. Play main roll in evaluating the specifications of the new projects Engineering, Installation and commissioning and insure compliance with operations and safety regulations. Within ten years at Umm Sheaf Supper Complex, the following projects have been installed and commissioned by my team (36MOL, ABK TIP, NGTPNew Gas Treatment Plant, Khuff gas Towers, Arab D towers, Cresal Gas Injection towers and MOOCSModernasisation of Ofshore Control Systems projects).
Prepare the operating and major scheme budget, implementation planning, and strategy and monitor the expenditure to be within the objective tolerance and variances. Ensure efficient and cost effective for the long and short terms planning for the preventative maintenance programs. Works according to established company procedures and professional standards. Exercise latitude in directing the work of the department by determining the work methods from several existing alternatives.

During a period of nine years working for WEPCO Abu Qir Site I was one of the team leaders to look after the new projects tendering, specifications and commissioning of the LPG plant and new offshore platform in the Mediterranean deep water. In addition to that I have contributed in the installation and commissioned of LTS plant.

Install and commission the test separators equipment and run microprocessor based computers to calculate the GOR and provide the results into the reservoir engineering group for monitoring purposes. Maintain and operate mini-metering stationBROOKS for LPG loading. Maintain the control systems of the turbo-expanders and compressors driven by gas turbines. Maintain the control system of the generators driven by SOLAR dual fuel turbines. Maintain and operate Mina Al-Hamra harbor metering loading station. Ive prepared the operating manuals of Burllus deep water project and onshore plant as well. The job is being subcontracted by Bechtel to IHRDC in Egypt which hired me on part time basis to write up the operational instruction/safety and verify the project documents. Im considered as external competency verifier for the control engineering personnel and prepared competency modules for Instrument/SCADA/DCS/ESD/F&G Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors and Engineers. I have prepared my own auditing techniques and methodology and apply it in Adma-Opco (Umm Shaif field). Project manager of Umm Shaif SCADA replacement project of 10.5 MM US $ value. Write up the system specifications, project strategy, safety, budgeting, EPC tender documents and carrying out technical evaluation between the different bidders...etc. Selected as a member of Abu Dhabi Natural Oil Co. (ADNOC) expert pool that is assigned to attend any technical problems, audit systems integrity, accidents investigator and recommend practical solutions as required. Perform Techno-economical studies for the new projects and provide the most economical solutions and options for the concerned managers to take the final decisions accordingly. Perform failure mode analysis and studies on the problematic equipment and address the areas of concerns and recommend solutions to reduce the plant/equipment down time and improve the overall reliability and integrity. In the current organization of ADMA OPCO, Im one of the middle management members and my duties are leading, directing and supervising multi national teams responsible for installation of the above mentioned projects and assure its compliance with the international standards and codes of practices especially BP API and ISA. In addition to preparing pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and start up of various plants. Prepare new projects hand-over procedures and certifications to assure smooth transfer from the contractors into the asset owners and follow up the clearance of any associate outstanding and punch list items.
