The photo on each slider follows the guide of rule of thirds by putting the eyes of the subject on the one-thirds position on the vertical axis to make the photo more engaging. The work is focus on the use of vertical line and horizontal line to create a static feels, helps create the professional look of the work. The work use color to help emphasis the elements. The blue color, in contrast to the dark grey, helps bring attention to the object. The background of each photo is also desaturated to greyscale with the help of background isolation technique to make the subject more standout. The proximity of the talk title, speakers name and rank, and the thumbnail picture make the components appear to be group together into one entry by Gestalts principle.
