ARGUMENT City Ordinance No. 5 imposes a maximum penalty of six (6) months imprisonment and P1,000.00 fine which is within the exclusive jurisdiction of the City Court of Manila. Hence, this Court has no jurisdiction over the instant case. WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that the information be quashed and the Accused be released immediately from detention.
