AGENDA Welcome Dennis Yarmouth Public Schools SE MA STEM Network Resources Katherine Honey, SE STEM Coordinator Cape Cod Community Colleges STEM Program and the MA STEM Goals Robert Cody, Ph.D., Dean of Science, Technology, Math, and Business 3:45-4:45PM Table Discussions by MA STEM Goals Listen to and share information about STEM Initiatives with representatives of schools, businesses, government & community organizations. Identify resources and professional development needed to support STEM Goals. MA STEM Goals
1. Increase K-12 student interest in STEM Majors: Agriculture & Natural Resources Architecture - Biological & Biomedical Sciences - Computer & Information Science Engineering& Engineering Technology/Technicians - Health Professions & Clinical Sciences - Mathematics & Statistics - Physical Sciences- Other STEM Majors precision production, military technology, mechanic/repair technician. Increase STEM achievement of Pre-K-12 students Increase %of students who demonstrate readiness for college-level study in STEM fields Increase number of students who graduate from a post-secondary institution with degree in a STEM field Increase STEM classes led by effective educators (PreK-16) Align STEM Education Programs with Workforce Needs

Keep right to take Station Ave. ramp. Turn slight right onto Station Ave. Go thru 2 sets of traffic lights, DY High School is on the left. Enter Main entrance, take a right to the library, which is just before Rm. 410.
