HUBODOMETERS

Triseal Hubodometers are the toughest, most accurate and dependable units on the market. An exceptional design, engineered for maintenance-free operation and lower over-all costs.
First quality design and performance. Advanced design prevents orbiting or spinning. Long life gears and bushings, fewer moving parts than most other units. Large, easy-to-read numbers for accurate readings. Provides great performance in heavy use and in all weather conditions. Full range of applications available. Models available in miles or kilometers. Guaranteed to + or 2% accuracy. Records both forward and reverse rotation of the wheel. Factory sealed, making it tamper-proof and moisture free. Robust construction makes the unit steady and balanced, even on rough roads. Tough polycarbonate cover, resists breakage and remains clear. Durable steel housing for greater dependability. Universal mounting stud (1/2) applies directly to H type hubcaps or to available brackets. Guaranteed against mechanical failure for 2 years, 200,000 miles.

We recommend verifying the REVS per MILE of a tire.

Check the tire size against the chart for the recommended model. Verify the application by determining the distance a fully-inflated tire travels to make one complete rotation. Do this by placing a chalk mark on the tire. Then make another chalk mark on the driving surface next to your tire mark. Roll the vehicle forward until the chalk mark on the tire has made one full revolution. Mark the driving surface at this point. Measure the distance between chalk marks on the driving surface. Calculate the number of revolutions per mile/kilometer. First convert the measured distance into feetround up or down to the nearest tenth. Example: 12 feet 6 inches equals 12.5 feet. Then divide 5,280 by your measurement to get revolutions per mile. Or for metric, convert the distance into meters, then divide 1,000 by the number of meters to get revolutions per kilometer. Refer to the chart at left. Find the closest REVS per MILE to your calculated number to select the appropriate Triseal part. Tires tend to vary in circumference with each tire manufacturer. In most cases, you can rely on the tire size chart to find the correct Triseal part number.
