RULES of the TOURNAMENT: Competitors must follow a high standard of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation any infraction of these fundamental sporting principles may be deemed cause for disqualification. NBAA starting procedure will be followed for the tournament. Cut off date for pre-fishing on Friedenau Dam is SUNSET FRIDAY 22nd FEBRUARY 2013 Fishing Times: Saturday 10h00 until 20h00; Prize giving at 20h30 In case of inclement weather the tournament director may alter the fishing times. All boats will start each days fishing within the designated launch area. Your weigh-in disk will be issued after your boat inspection is complete. Your weigh-in disk must be returned prior to the cut-off time on each day for fish to be weighed. No trolling is acceptable in this tournament. NO OUTBOARD MOTORS MAY BE USED Only one rod per angler may be in use at any stage. All angling must take place from the boat; angler may only go ashore at the weigh station. A maximum of THREE anglers per boat. Fish are weighed per boat. Only competitors may occupy the boat. Keep casting distance from all anglers. A marshals boat will observe and disqualify as needed. Littering can lead to disqualification. 3 Fish limit per boat per day. No more than 3 fish on a boat at any time. Minimum size of fish is 300 mm in length. The weigh masters decision is final in this regard. No culling at the weigh station will be accepted. Only live fish will be weighed. The weigh masters decision is final in this regard. All fish submitted for weighing becomes the property of the organizers. Any objections must be lodged within 30 min of the last fish being weighed; an objection must be accompanied with a N$50-00 deposit; the deposit will be returned if the objection is proven valid. In case of dispute or rule clarification the tournament directors interpretation is final. The organizers at all levels shall be indemnified against any personal liabilities which may be incurred by them in the execution of their duties, save such as they may incur through their own negligence or default. No individual sponsor shall be held liable for any debts incurred by the organizers. The organizers (indemnified) will not be held responsible in any way for any injuries or loss of life occurring during he WINDHOEK BASSMASTERS OPEN or functions, or any third party claim against the organizers for any reason whatsoever. NOW THEREFORE the Indemnitor hereby indemnifies and keep indemnified the WINDHOEK BASSMASTERS OPEN against all loss or damage, from any cause arising, with specific reference to damage or loss to boats, trailers, motor vehicles, angling equipment and personal belongings, during the tournament. The Indemnitor extends this deed of indemnity to personal injuries, loss of lives or bodily harm caused to the Indemnitor, from any cause arising, during the WINDHOEK BASSMASTERS OPEN.
