1. Task
Two teams will be playing at the same time in two different game fields having a common zone in between. The game play involves checking the speed, efficiency and line tracking. After checking the robots specification discussed later, the match will start when the two teams will get permission to start the match by putting the automatic robots on the start area and power up the robots manually The robots will start moving on the track following a certain track which will be indicated later ,when the robot succeeds to reach the black node , by this stage one is over and an indication is to be given by a visual/audio signal At stage two the robots move on their own tracks which the robots generate individually to get their blocks Now the two robots are going to reach a common zone and get the block on the frame firstly If the two robots (can't finish or didn't finish) their mission then the winner will be the one who can collect larger number of points in a shorter time

2. Game field
The Game field is made of wood Grid is made by 56 white lines square and black background The lines are equally spaced , Distance between the lines = 210 mm ( between the middle of two line =250mm ) the line thickness = 40mm there are white nodes between the intersection of the lines .but the final node of the first stage is black The block dimensions = 100mm 100mm 100mm The Automatic landing zone: the starting area of automatic robots The transfer zone : the area which the automatic robot finds the block The block landing zone (Common Zone) :the common frame which the automatic robots land the block

3. Robot specifications
1) Only one robot for (each or every) Team 2) Automatic Robot should fit within the size of 300mm L x 300mm W and 500mm H at its Starting Zone before starting ( + 5 % ) 3) The robot has one switch only for power and another one if restart is needed 4) The robot must be stable and must be able to stand on its own when putting it in the landing zone 5) After the game starts, the Automatic Robots size and form may be changed. However, the extension limit is 60cm diameter when checked from above. The robot can expand itself without damaging the Game Field and separating or splitting is not allowed.

6) The teams are allowed to use ready-made micro-controller boards/ready-made sensor kit; however, the teams are not allowed to use ready-made Lego kits or any such assemblies

4. Power supply specifications

1) The robots have to use an on-board power supply. No external power supply will be allowed. 2) Each team shall bring its own power supply for all its robots. 3) The potential difference between any two points on any of the robots must not exceed 24 V DC.

5. Control
1) The robots are not allowed to receive any signal from outside (using wireless communication is not allowed). 2) During restarting robots, a team cannot feed information about the grid to the robot. However, teams are allowed to: Adjust sensors (Gain, Position etc.), make repairs. However, a contestant may not alter a robot in a manner that alters its weight (e.g. removal of a bulky sensor array or switching to lighter batteries to get better speed). The organizers shall arbitrate.

6. Rules
1) The maximum time given for completing the two stages is 120 sec 2) The robot moves only at the grid area 3) The robot should give a visual/audio signal at the end of stage one (at the black node)

7. Checkpoints
Stage one : 1) Each line the robot successes to cross it at the right track .the robot gets ( 5 point ) 2) Each success rotation ( 10 point ) 3) Detecting the black node and finishing stage one + a visual/audio signal ( 20 point ) Stage two : 1) Catch the block ( 20 point ) 2) Put the block at the common area on the frame ( 40 point ) The total points at the match (200 points )

8. Restart
The member of the team should raise his hand and excuse the referee to touch the robot. At restart the robot starts again from the starting zone 1) If the robot moves away from the track or any error happens the robot can restart 2) If the robot loss the block the robot restarts again

9. General Rules
1) Team members will not allowed to handle the blocks and the robot during the match 2) Only two members of the team are allowed to handle the robots ( standing on the stage ) 3) Laptops/personal computers are not allowed near the Game Field. Other Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. devices must be switched off.

4) The organizers may stop any robot at any time if they feel that it is performing, or is about to Perform any action that is dangerous or hazardous to people or equipment. 5) The time measured by the organizers will be final and will be used for scoring the teams. Time Measured by any contestant by any other means is not acceptable for scoring.

10. Safety
1) As structural measures, securing front view, covering sharp parts or Attaching cover to movable parts, should be considered, Not allow to use laser class two 2) As structural measures, re-examination of fuse, wiring of suitable thickness, attaching positions and isolation from combustibles etc., should be considered.

11. Disqualified
1) The robot is not allowed to leave anything behind while traversing the grid. It should not make any marks on the floor of the Game Field. Any robot found damaging the Game Field will be immediately disqualified. 2) The team will be disqualified if the blocks were handled within the Game Field without approval of the presiding organizers 3) The team will be disqualified if the team harms the other team by any way

12. Violation
1) 2) 3) 4) If any team wants to make restart more than three times ,it incurs penalty ( -50 points ) Each time the robot out of track (-10 points). If the robot cross the black node without give a visual/audio signal it incurs penalty (-25 points). If the robot get out of board it incurs penalty (-60 points).

13. Eligibility
This competition only for all Higher Technological Institute (6th Oct branch) students.

14. Team specification

Maximum number of members (5 students) can be combined from all branches. Each team must have team leader, who is responsible for getting all the information about the rules and the committee is not responsible about any miss information
