Course Description The fundamentals of the production and interaction of x rays are presented in lecture form. This is followed by the basics of radiation biology and radiation protection, production of the radiograph (physics, chemistry and technique). Discussing the basic principles of X ray generation, and the different radiological devices used in the dental clinic. In addition, the course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge of the principles and practice of extraoral and intraoral radiography.
