Dear Friend, Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ from everyone at the church. The Lord is moving by His Spirit and because of that people are growing in His grace and knowledge. Some are arising and doing His will and they are taking that extra step, reaching a little but farther than ever before and finding that His grace is sufficient for all their needs! Some of our workers are ministering more and more at church (and they are doing a fantastic job!). For example, one woman just ministered about faith. She quoted some of the verses about mustard seed faith, which Jesus taught about. She said that little seed may be the smallest of all seeds, but it doesnt know it is small: it believes it will grow to be a mighty tree. It has to believe I can do all things through Christ. You may think you only have a little faith, but if you quit looking at the size of your faith and start using what God gave you, you will see it growing more and more! We may be small, but the Lord is big! We may be weak, but He is strong! The Bible teaches us, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We arent born with faith in God. We dont naturally have it. Faith comes when we hear the inspired Word of God. In other words, the Lord has to open our ears by the Holy Spirit and then our spiritual ears receive what the Lord says to us. There is a place for preaching (which is exciting and inspiring) but there also has to be a place for teaching of Gods Word. Its the good old fashioned teaching of the Word: learning who Jesus Christ is and what He came to do. That settles you and enables you to receive correction, inspiration, and His love, joy, and peace. When you are in church longing to hear about Christ Jesus, Gods Spirit comes along and breathes on that spoken Word. He brings it to life and many times you feel it go right inside you! It comes alive in your heart and you have the assurance that you can do the things you couldnt do before! It strengthens you and makes it possible for you to fulfill your purpose in life. This is called the witness of the Spirit. God makes you know His grace will be sufficient for you and that He will not fail you: ever! Let me just say right now that this is not just for the minister or priest; it is not just for special people; it is not just for men or just for women: but this inspiration of the Spirit is for whosoever will. The Lord loves each of us and has a place for each of us in His

kingdom. The place He designed for you cannot be filled by anyone else but you. This is why the apostle Paul wrote, ...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith... (Hebrews 12: 1 & 2). The word patience is not a bad word. It simply means you have confidence that you will accomplish what youre going to do for God because you are confident He will enable you to finish that task. You know that He is faithful who promised and you know the end of your trial is victory and glory to God! Some of the greatest miracles in the Bible happened because the people who came to Jesus focused their attention on reaching Him, not what others said or did (experts or know-it-alls). You can actually have faith that you will fail. This is called fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear is not based on Gods Word but springs from something else, whether it is a bad experience in your past or something you saw or heard or a misunderstanding or a lack of confidence. This is why the Lord chose to give people faith when they hear the Word of God. It is based on truth. The fact is, you may have sin in your life, but the truth is that Jesus died on the cross for every sin. The fact is, you may have a financial need or a physical need, but the truth is Jesus provided the answer for each of these needs in His Word. The fact is, you may have a situation that scares you, but the truth is Jesus is still the Prince of Peace and He will give His peace to those who keep their minds on Him and His promises. Remember, God so loves your world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Dont think its just good for me, because its good for you, too! He loves you and will pardon you, too! He will do what it takes to bring you to heaven if you give Him your heart.
