The Covenant Series Volume 1

Yahweh=s Covenants
A Covenant Made
The Word of Yahweh often speaks of covenants which Yahweh has made with mankind. In the account of the Exodus from Egypt, we find one such covenant when Yahweh gave his Torah (instruction, guidance) to the children of Israel (Ex. 19:5). This covenant is recorded in the chapters following 19, and includes a moral code, health code, weekly and annual Shabbats (Sabbaths), punishments for sin, and numerous slaughter offerings to make atonement for the sins committed. In the course of time, (and it did not take too long) the children of Yisrael went against the commands which Yahweh had given, thereby breaking their end of the covenant agreement with the Creator. Numerous times they returned to Yahweh for short periods, only to once again follow after the customs of the heathen within a very short time. They were a stiff necked people, just as humanity is today, and they quickly forgot all that Yahweh had done for them in the land of Egypt and their journeys throughout the wilderness. Various times Yahweh spoke to his people through prophets such as Jeremiah, calling his people to return unto him. Although the various slaughter offerings made restitution for their many offenses, they did not remove the sin from their hearts, and the result was a very backsliding people. Through the prophet Jeremiah, Yahweh spoke to his people, saying, Behold, the days come, that I will Foretelling Of A Renewed Covenant The Covenant Broken

make a renewed covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, sayeth Yahweh: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my Torah in their inward parts and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, saith Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jeremiah 31:31-34) This promise from the book of Jeremiah is quoted in Hebrews 8:10-12 as well. Verse 13 of Hebrews chapter 8 reads, In that he saith, A renewed covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. A Source Of Confusion

For some, these several verses create a discrepancy as to which covenant we are now under. While most believers teach that we are now under the renewed covenant, it is said by some that Jeremiah 31:34 means that all men will know Yahweh when the renewed covenant is put into effect. It is argued that since all men do not yet know Yahweh, we are still under Yahwehs original covenant. How do we know which view is correct? The best way to find out is to open the scriptures. paths: for the Torah shall go forth of Zion, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Yahweh hath spoken it. For all people will walk every one in the name of HIS elohim (mighty one), and WE will walk in the name of Yahweh, OUR Elohim forever. (Micah 4:1-5)

Yahweh=s Covenants
In response to this argument, it may be wise to consider what Yahweh meant when he said, I will put my Torah in their inward parts and write it in their hearts (Jer.31:33) If Yahweh meant that his people would have his entire Torah memorized, or at least have a very good knowledge of it, then the Torah is already within Satans heart, as can be seen when he tempted Yahshua in the wilderness. (Mt 4:1-11) Yes, he twists it and changes it as he goes, but in order to be able to do so, he must be very familiar with it. Being a fallen Messenger of Yahweh, it is very understandable why. Likewise, there are many teachers and false prophets (ministers of Satan) today which instruct others in lies. They have a vast knowledge of Yahwehs Torah, but they use this knowledge for the wrong purposes, knowing just which scriptures to quote, which to twist, and which to avoid. If this is all that it means to have Yahwehs Torah in our hearts, then the renewed covenant is nothing better than the old. So what did Yahweh mean? The answer is found in Jeremiah 24:7 where we read And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their El: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. Ezekiel 11:19,20 and 36:26,27 say much the same. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a renewed spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim . We see that Yahweh is not referring to a knowledge of his Torah, but a desire in our hearts to keep it. Will this What Did Yahweh Mean?

To get things into a better focus, it may be wise to turn to the Good News according to John. At first glance it may seem as though I am sidetracking, but it is necessary that we consider more than just the scripture in question if we are to come to a correct conclusion regarding Yahwehs covenants. In John 8:19 Yahshua says, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, you should have known my father also. He makes it very clear that one must know him before they can know Yahweh. Continuing on, the scriptures make it clear that there will never be a time when all men will accept Yahshua as the Messiah. Here are just a few: "For many be called, but few chosen" (M't 20:16)

only happen to the chosen of Yahweh after the millennium? Certainly not, for without a desire to do Yahwehs will, there would be none fit to reign 1000 years with a righteous Messiah. Another line of thought which often presents itself is that the only condition which must be met before the renewed covenant comes into effect is that the tribes of Ephraim and Judah be granted a heart to know the Messiah. When Yahweh grants ears to hear and a heart to understand the scriptures, it should become obvious that this teaching is in error. But Who Is Israel?

Also referring to the wedding feast of the Lamb, Yahshua mentioned those who would be cast into outer darkness... for many are called, but few are chosen (M't 22:13b,14) Yahshua said, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (M't 7:13,14) But in the last days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the tabernacle of Yahweh (Yahshua and his followers as portrayed in Jn 2:19-21 and 2Cor.6:16) shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up unto the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways (See also Zechariah 8:23), and we will walk in his

When this passage mentions that all people will walk every one in the name of his elohim, it is not saying that all people will be following Yahweh, for the verse ends with and WE will walk in the name of Yahweh, our Elohim forever. Furthermore, chapter 5:15 concludes with And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard. In order for this to be accomplished, it is necessary that there still be men who do not know and accept Yahshua as the Creator and Messiah.

Referring to the Pharisees in Matthew 15:13,14, Yahshua said, Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Also in Acts 13:46,47 we read, ...It was necessary that the word of Yahweh should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Goyim (Gentiles). For so hath Yahweh commanded us saying I have set thee to be a light of the Goyim, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. Yahshua is also referred to as a a light to lighten the Goyim in Isa. 49:6 and Lk 2:32

If Yahshua will never be accepted by all men, neither can Yahweh be known of all men until He has completely destroyed all those which reject Him. Revelation chapter 20 informs us that this will not happen until after the millennium. If all evil will be destroyed after the millennium, there will naturally only be righteousness left, which means that at such a time, it will be possible for all remaining men to know Yahweh. Based on this, it may be argued that Yahwehs renewed covenant will be put into effect at the end of the millennium. Torah In Our Hearts

The word Goyim is #1471 in the Hebrew, meaninga foreign nation, hence a Gentile; also fig. a troop of animals or a flight of locusts:- Gentile, heathen, nation, people and #1484 in the Greek, meaning a race, (as of the same habit) i.e. a tribe; spec. a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually by impl. pagan):- Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

Yahweh=s Covenants
and with all your soul. (Deut. 13:3) The ultimate question is now this: Was Jeremiah a false prophet? If so, his prophecy does not belong in Yahwehs scriptures. For starters, it may be wise to examine the words brother and neighbor more closely.

Yahweh=s Covenants
Yahweh. Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What hath Yahweh answered? and, what hath Yahweh spoken? (Jer.23:35) It was for this reason that Yahweh promised, through Jeremiah, an enlightening of his people in the ways of truth.

From this it is evident that not all of physical Yisrael will be saved. There will be called out ones throughout the ages, but they will be the minority. The majority hardened their hearts, refusing to repent when Yahshua was here in the flesh. They hardened their hearts to the point that they murdered Him upon a tree. They hardened their hearts when he rose from the dead, and likewise, the majority will harden their hearts when he returns. (Lk. 16:29-31) The ingathering from the four corners of the earth (Isa. 11:12, Jer. 23:3, Ezek. 11:17, Micah 2:12, Zech. 10:8-12) refers to a gathering of Messianic (believing) Yisrael, and those of all nationalities which have been grafted into the olive tree of Yahwehs chosen people. This future ingathering will be unto the new Jerusalem which shall descend from Yahweh at a future time.

Upon tracing the word brother in Strongs Hebrew and Chaldee dictionary, we find that it is #251. The definition is as follows: ha, ach, awkh; a prim. word; a brother (used in the widest sense of literal relationship and metaph. affinity or resemblance [like 1]):-- another, brother (-ly), kindred, like, other. Comp. also the prop. names beginning with "Ah-" or "Ahi-"

Romans chapter 11 speaks of a grafting in of the Nations into Yisrael. Among Yahwehs people of Israel today (consisting of all true believers in Messiah), it is no longer necessary for every man to teach his neighbors and brethren, (fellow Israelites according to Matthew 12:48-50), saying, Know Yahweh, for they (being the neighbors and brethren) shall all know me... (Jer.31:34) Thus it becomes clear that Jeremiah was not a false prophet and his words are still to be hearkened unto today. It also becomes clear that Jeremiah did not say that everyone must know Yahweh before the renewed covenant could be instituted. The Other Promise Half Of Yahwehs

after the line of Melchisedek, offering Himself as a one time slaughter offering for our sins. Upon his death, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom (M't 27:51a), signifying that with Yahshua as our Hgh Priest or Mediator, all men may now approach Yahweh on an individual basis, through the blood of Yahshua, which has made atonement for our sins. The Aaronic and Melchisedekian Priesthoods

Now that this has been thoroughly covered, we can continue on to determine the authenticity of Jeremiahs prophecy. In the Torah, we find specific instructions concerning false prophets. Deuteronomy 18:20 reads, But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other elohims, even that prophet shall die. If Jeremiah prophesied saying that all men would know Yahweh at some time previous to the end of the millennium, he was a false prophet and was to be put to death, according to Yahwehs Torah. Furthermore, his words are to be ignored, for they are not of Yahweh. Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for Yahweh your Elohim proveth you, to know whether ye love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart Was Jeremiah A False Prophet?

The definition for neighbor is: #7453, xr rea, ray-ah; or xyr reya, ray-ah; from 7462; an associate (more or less close):-brother, companion, fellow, friend, husband, lover, neighbor, X (an-) other.

The Greek for Neighbor is #4139, pronounced play-see-on, meaning (adv.) close by; (n.) a neighbor, ie. fellow (as man, countryman, Chr. or friend):-near, neighbor. From these definitions, it becomes clear that the words neighbor and brother are referring to those which you are in close contact with, not the entire world.

Likewise, the Greek word translated as brother in Hebrews is #80, pronounced "ad-el-fos; meaning from I (as a connective particle) and delphus (the womb); a brother (lit. or fig.) near or remote [much like 1]:-brother.

It is important to remember the other half of the promise in Jeremiah 31:33 as well. If we will say that Yahwehs Torah is not yet written on our hearts and minds, then neither can we say that He is our Elohim, and we are his people (vs. 33b) With this in mind, we can continue on to other scriptures to farther determine which of Yahwehs covenants we are now under. During the time of the Aaronic Priesthood, it was necessary for men to approach Yahweh through the priest of the tribe of Levi, for repentance of sins. When Yahshua established the renewed covenant of the Torah on our hearts, He did so as the High Priest A Better Covenant

Moving forward again to Hebrews, we notice in chapter 9, that all the references to the Aaronic priesthood are past tense, while reference to the Melchisedekian priesthood, wherein Messiah is the High Priest and slaughter offering, are present tense. Throughout Hebrews chapter 9, we often find the term covenant in the traditional translations. However, in certain instances, the word covenant is not in the original manuscripts. Considering the surrounding context, we find that it is the priesthood which Shaul (Paul) is often comparing, therefore wherever it is appropriate, we shall restore the term, Priesthood, instead.

The first [priesthood] had... (vs. 1) there was a tabernacle... wherein was the candlestick (vs. 2) which had the golden censor, etc (vs.4) These things were thus ordained (vs. 6) Which was a figure for the time then present... (vs.9) Until the time of reformation (vs. 10) But the Messiah being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the set apart place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of

At the time of Jeremiahs prophecy to Yisrael, Yahwehs chosen people were in a state of great spiritual darkness. It was a time when they knew not

Yahweh=s Covenants
The Priesthoods Compared 1. The Aaronic priesthood required the blood of animals to make atonement for sin (Hebrews 10:4). The Melchisedekian priesthood is perfected through the perfect blood of Yahshua that atonement might be made for sin once and for all. (Hebrews 10:12, 14) 2. The Aaronic Priesthood required a tabernacle made with hands. The Melchisedekian priesthood requires a tabernacle which is built by Yahweh, and not man (John 2:19, 2 Cor. 6:16, Heb. 8:2, 9:11,24, Rev. 21:22). 3. The Aaronic priesthood was from the line of Levi (Aaron and his descendants), which were men with infirmities, just as ourselves. (Hebrews 5:1-4, 7:28). The Melchisedekian priesthood requires a high priest without infirmities. The position of this high priest is filled by our Messiah. (Hebrews 5:6, 10, 7:22-28). 4. While the Aaronic priesthood was p h y s i c a l and earthly, t h e Melchisedekian priesthood is spiritual and heavenly. (Romans 7:14, 1 Cor. 15:46, 1 Peter 2:5) 5. While the Aaronic priesthood was patterned after the things in the heavens, the Melchisedekian priesthood is the heavenly things themselves. (Heb. 9:23) Renewed Covenant

Yahweh=s Covenants
was not his body, but his blood, thus fulfilling the requirement referenced in Hebrews 9:16. If we will say that we are still under the Aaronic priesthood, where animal slaughter offerings must be preformed to make atonement for sins, there is no logical explanation for Yahshuas death on the tree. From Hebrews 9:16, it is evident that blood must be shed in order to bring the renewed covenant into consummation. If we will say that Yahshua's atonement did not accomplish this, whose blood is to be shed in the future? Who else is without sin? Who is more fit to be this sinless slaughter offering than Yahshua? He that despised Torah died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the son of Yahweh, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was set apart, a common thing, and hath done despite unto the spirit of favour? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, Yahweh shall judge his people. (Heb.10:28-30) If we will not believe that Messiah Yahshua accomplished what he came to earth to do, are we not then trampling Yahshua underfoot, and putting Yahweh's patience to the extreme test? What Did Fulfil? Yahshua Mean The Price Of Unbelief

bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to Yahweh, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim? And for this cause, he (Yahshua) is the mediator of the renewed covenant... (vs.11-15a) Verse 16,17 continues, For where a covenant is, it is necessary for the death of the covenanted one to be established. For a covenant over those dead is firm, since it is never valid while the covenanted one is living.

abolished, and yet this directly contradicts the very words of Yahwehs scriptures. Contrary to the doctrine of the world, the scriptures reveal that Yahweh does not change. For I Am Yahweh, I change not. (Malachi 3:6) ...the Father of Lights, with W hom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17). Yahshua Messiah, the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8).

Because of this, the first covenant was dedicated with blood, this being the death of the animals used for the slaughter offerings (Heb. 9:18-22)

It was therefore necessary that the pattern of things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves, with better slaughter offerings than these. (vs.23) So the Messiah (being the Lamb chosen for the slaughter offering according to John. 1:29) was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (vs.28)

In Matthew 5:17-19 Yahshua says. Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Til heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah until all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. The key which unlocks the mystery of Yahshuas mission on earth, can once again be found by examining the original Greek word for fulfil (#4137, pronounced play-ro-o). It means to make replete, i.e. (lit.) To cram (a net), to level up (a hollow), or (fig.) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task) verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.:- accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply. This is what Yahshua came to earth to do. He did not come to abolish the Torah of Yahweh, but to keep it. He did not come to make Torah easier to keep, but to clarify how it should be kept. Let us examine a few of the ways in which Yahshua truly fulfilled Yahwehs

While it was possible for animal slaughter offerings to make restitution for sin, it was impossible for them to take the sin away. (Heb. 10:11). Thus the slaughter offerings had to be offered repeatedly, year after year. It was for this reason that Yahshua offered himself as a one time slaughter offering. (vs.12). His slaughter offering of love is capable of making an atonement for our sins which will last for eternity, For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified (vs.14)

Yahwehs Established

by

During the Passover supper with his disciples, Yahshua affirmed that his death upon the tree established (i.e. set fast) the renewed covenant by saying. For this is my blood of the renewed covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Mt.26:28, see also Mk 14:24 & Lk 22:20) Notice that it

Sadly enough, Satan has incorporated a very corrupted form of the renewed covenant into the modern identity known as the ch-rch, and the whole world embraces it with open arms. There are many teachers of deception saying just believe. They tell us that the Torah has been

Yahweh=s Covenants
One important point which must be stressed is that the renewed covenant consists of the same set of instructions and guidance which the original covenant consists of; the renewed being merely a re-institution of the first. In order to partake of the renewed covenant however, it is necessary that the people partaking of it be perfected. How New Is Renewed? (Matthew 5:48, John 13:15-17) Covenant

Yahweh=s Covenants
We have come this far, but a very important question remains. What exactly does this renewed covenant which Yahweh has made with his people entail? What is the wine which we must be able to hold? 1. At the giving of the Torah covenant, the stipulations were engraved upon tables of stone (Exodus 24:12, 31:18, 34:28). The principle part of the renewed covenant is that we take these same stipulations and engrave them upon our hearts. (Jer.31:33) It is required that Yahwehs Torah be written upon the tables of our hearts, and that we delight in obeying them, before we may become partakers of the Renewed Covenant. (Hebrews 8:10). 2. Torah provided circumcision as symbolism of cleansing and purity before Yahweh. The circumcision was also a part of the Abrahamic promise of fruitfulness. (Gen. 17:1014) In partaking of the renewed covenant, circumcision of our hearts is required, in order that Yahwehs Torah may be engraved upon them. (Acts 15:1-31, Col. 3:11, Rom, 2:2529, 2 Cor. 6:14) 3. Torah gives allowance for putting away, due to the hardness of mens hearts. Messiah emphasizes however, the binding effect of the marriage vow. From the beginning it was not so.... What therefore Yahweh hath joined together, let not man put asunder (Mt 19:3-9, Mark 10:2-9) Before the covenant may be renewed with us, we must remain faithful to our physical spouse, as well as Yahweh. This requires that when we are separated because of sin, we must remain faithful, that unification may once again be achieved, and the marriage covenant renewed.

Torah. 1. By making it replete (completely filled, full) with meaning, that we might understand how to truly observe Torah. One instance of this is found in Matthew 5:21-48. Those which hunger after righteousness shall be filled (Luke 6:21) when they take heed to his words, for they are Torah clarified. It is also interesting to note how Yahshua once again likened spiritual to physical, that we might more clearly understand. He filled the disciples nets full of fishes (Luke 5:6-9) and filled the jars full of wine (John 2:3-9), symbolic of his making Torah (the bread of life, Deut. 8:3, Mt 4:4) full to overflowing as well. Likewise, when we observe Messiahs Torah (instruction), our cup is filled to overflowing with righteousness. 2. By satisfying, or observing it. (Luke 2:49) Likewise, he shall execute judgement according to the requirements set forth in Yahweh's Torah. (John 5:22,27) 3. By executing the office of high priest, after the order of Melchisideck. (Hebrews 7,8) 4. By completing the task of the slaughter offering, through his atonement for sin, as the Lamb which Yahweh supplied. (Genesis 22:8, John 1:29) 5. By preaching the Torah, and verifying that it is still to be kept. (Mt 12:8, 19:16-21) 6. By giving us with an example of perfection, that following in His footsteps, we may also be perfect. (Lk.6:40, 1Cor.13:10, Col.4:12b, Heb.5:9, 7:19, 9:11-14 10:1-10, James 1:25) 7. Lastly, Yahshua fulfilled the Torah by presenting (supplying) himself as a living example of righteousness, and obedience to the Torah of Yahweh.

4. Torah requires a refraining from sin through physical actions, but included in the writing of Torah on the heart is that we refrain from the sins of thought as well (Matthew 5:21-48) 5. While Moses was the mediator of the Covenant as given at Sinai (Exodus 24:1-8), the mediator of the renewal of this covenant is Yahshua, our one and only advocate and mediator before the Father (Hebrews 9:15). What most folks do not realize is the similarities which abound between the original and renewed covenants. However, this should not come as a surprise once we realize that the renewed covenant is nothing more than a re-institution of the first in the hearts of a perfected people. Common Ground!

Yahshua said in Matthew 9:15-17, Can the children of the bride chamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will be come when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break and the wine run out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new wine bottles and both are preserved. It is for this reason that Yahshua told Nicodemus, Verily verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of Yahweh... Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Yahweh. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I have said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the spirit. (John 3:3,5-8) Likewise it must be for all of Yahwehs followers, for we are the wine bottles which are to hold the wine of the renewed covenant. (Mark 14:23-24,36) Requirements Of The Renewed

1. Just as the renewed covenant requires that Torah be written upon our hearts, it remained possible for Torah to be written upon an individuals heart even before the first coming of Messiah to earth. Today Yahweh your Elohim is commanding you to do these instructions and right rulings. And you shall guard and do them with all your heart and with all your being. (Deut. 26:16) The Torah of Elohim is in his heart (Psa. 36:31a) Guard my commands and live, and my Torah as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. (Prov. 7:2,3) Therefore, those who have possessed a heartfelt desire to obey Torah have been partakers, or first fruits of the renewed covenant from the beginning of time. At first look, this only makes

your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, so that you might live. (Deut. 30:2a,6)

Yahweh=s Covenants

Because Yahshuas death made atonement for all repentant sinners from the beginning of the world up until now, then certainly, all men who placed their trust in Him throughout the ages are equal heirs in the renewed covenant; the eternal covenant of life. 2. Circumcision of the heart is not a concept which has been limited to post-Messianic times. Circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more. (Deut. 10:16) When ye shall turn back to Yahweh your Elohim... he shall circumcise

common sense. At second look, however, it poses a seemingly confusing dilemma. Scripture makes it clear that a shedding of blood is required before a covenant may be put into effect. Consequently, it appears as though such individuals as Noah, Moses, Joshua, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were excluded from the renewed covenant, for as of yet, Moshiach Yahshua had not even descended to earth as a man. The human mind does not easily rectify the concept of renewed covenant first fruits throughout the ages with the historical fact that HaMoshiach was hung on a tree a mere 2000 years ago. Despite what the scriptures teach, is Yahweh an Elohim of partiality? Of course not! The answer to what might otherwise be virtually unexplainable, is found once again in the scriptures. And all that dwell on the earth shall worship....the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)

3. Contrary to popular belief, the first institution of the Torah covenant was not made only with the children of Yisrael (Exodus 24), but also with the stranger that sojourneth among them. Let the stranger who sojourns among you be as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself. (Lev 19:34)

Please ponder upon these things. Consider the price which Yahshua was willing to pay for your life, and consider the path which you have chosen to tread. Base your conclusions firmly upon Yahwehs word, that at the time of the reaping, you too may hear Yahshuas words of approval saying, Well done, thou good and faithful servant... Enter thou into the JOY of Yahweh! (Mt. 25:21,23)

The Reward Of Obedience

In the same manner, the renewal of this covenant is made with those of Messianic (believing) Yisrael, and all such as are grafted into the olive tree of Yahwehs chosen people. (Jer. 31:31-33, Isaiah 49:6, Luke 2:32, Hebrews 8:8-10, John 3:16).
