Individual reflection Subject: English Language Proficiency Topic : Produce a newsletter On 25 February 2010, Sir Izzat b. Abdullah was given a mini coursework task about the English Language Proficiency subject with the topic about newsletter. Students are required to work in group of three or four. So, I had to choose my own group with Nurul Atiqah, Nur Asilah, Nur Atirah and Nurul Shuhada. From the task, we must create a newsletter based on the information gathered from various sources. First of all, we must choose some articles and edit together. The articles must be different from each other and contain many branches like current issues, entertainment, sport, and health. Then, we must present the newsletter orally and through power point presentation. I referred some websites and use print media resources to make notes on all information on how to produce the newsletter and the current issues happen surrounding. To make this coursework going on systematically, we have divided our work into five parts. I am doing the entertainment which finds the tourism in Malaysia. I am interested to find more information about Sarawak. Although it located on the SouthWestern corner of Malaysian Borneo, It is a land of vast primeval rainforests, majestic mountains, caves, unique flora and fauna and diverse ethnic communities. Sarawak's history is one of heroic adventure and romance, piracy and rebellion. The state came under the rule of the White Rajahs when the Sultan of Brunei made James Brook, an English adventurer, the ruler of Sarawak in 1841 for his help in quelling a rebellion. Sarawak shares its boundaries with Kalimantan in the south and Brunei and Sabah in the north. Two-thirds of its land is rainforest and its population of 1.7 million is made up of 23 ethnic groups. Sarawak is best known for its natural and cultural wonders. On the other hand, many difficulties that I need to face it during first time doing this task, but with help from Nurul Atiqah, Nur Asilah, Nur Atirah and Nurul Shuhada and friends, we have done our own newsletter successfully. Many experiences that can I
