There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.

The RESULT Process will help you discover your core values, your beliefs, your strengths, motivations, and what you want in your life. This will be done by using tools that are appropriate for your learning style and by the use of following the process to ignite your potential and commitment to bring in the desired transformation. It is a well set principle that your RESULT is an outcome of what your input is through a process of RELATIONSHIP.
Relationship :
Relationship is the foundation on which the Coach and the client work together. This foundation is build on the basis of Trust which needs to be developed between them. It is important that the Coach knows the client sufficiently well and builds RELATIONSHIP which will help the client to open up and the discuss the issues faced with transparently and without any fear or apprehension. This is very critical and belongs to the primary ethical code and competencies defined by ICF.
Empathy:
When there is trust and openness, the Coach finds himself or herself in the space of Self-Awareness. It is then possible to be with the client and understand the values and beliefs of the client. In such a situation, you, as a coach, are in a position to see the issues from the clients perspective and extend help and support to develop insights leading to achieving the desired RESULT for the client.
Suspending Judgement:
Each interaction has an impact on the parties engaged in the discussion. In our quest for supporting and helping the client, it is possible that the coach gets judgmental and starts looking at the issue from the images about the client created in the mind. We judge people because our self esteem is low. Judging is a form of comparison. We compare ourselves against others. We judge others because we do not like who we are. This is the sad outcome of judgment. Simply recognizing that you are in a state of judgment, is often enough to release it. Judgment is a human weakness that even the most reflective and self-aware human beings can fall into. We all make judgments. The answer is not to feel bad or wrong about judgment, after all, this would be judging you! The answer is to recognize the judgment, take a deep breath and then LET IT GO!!!
Underlying Beliefs :
Underlying Beliefs are thoughts or beliefs, which we hold on to about ourselves, our world and those around us, often without even realizing we are doing it. Underlying Beliefs are unique to an individual The purpose of discerning and detecting Underlying Beliefs is to help the client gain awareness and hence help the client see the patterns of behavior that disempower or empower them. When a client discovers an Underlying Belief they are able to make decisions from a more powerful position because they have a greater amount of knowledge. They have the power of choice.
By using Underlying Beliefs to define these patterns clearly, we can then have a fresh perspective in order to take action outside of these old patterns of behavior. Therefore, we can create new opportunities where there were none before. It is like shining a light on something that has been lurking in the dark for some time so as to be able to deal with it effectively. It is very hard to address something when it is not visible and clear. However, by detecting an Underlying Belief, and facing it head on, it then becomes possible for us to change behavior. Learning Application:
The application of learning is where the client begins to see the path forward. They start to map out the direction they want to go forward in. If this moment doesnt occur then it is a good indication that the client has only intellectualized the change in perspective or the awareness of the situation rather than feeling it. Feeling it immediately gives the client the space to be able to move forward and create action. The action steps will also be aligned with where the client has not yet made the emotional shift.
