We confess the Son of God who before the ages and from eternity was born from God the Father was born for our salvation from the Virgin Mary according to the flesh in the last of days, as the divine Apostle teaches, saying: But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman - Galatians 4:4 We confess that he is the Son of God. Not two sons, one being the Son of God, truly God and to be worshipped and the other a man from Mary who is not to be worshipped, who became the Son of God through grace as man. But from God is, as I said, one Son and God. He himself, not another, was born from Mary according to the flesh in the last of days, as the angel said to Mary the Theotokos: "How will this be since I am a virgin?" she asked "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. - Luke 1:34-45 He therefore, the Son of God according to nature and not according to either grace or participation and truly God was born from the Virgin Mary.
