This is a primary internet source that is supplied with all of The Federalist Papers. We used it because we feel it is important to include primary sources along with secondary sources in any research that is done.

We used this book as both a secondary and primary source. It contains the majority of the original Federalist Papers and interpretation on each specific paper. It was a helpful source that helped form our thesis and gave us a new look at The Federalist Papers.

This primary source contains copies of all of the original Federalist Papers. We found it on a Yale Law School website and believe that it is trustworthy source.

This book contains all 85 articles of The Federalist Papers. We used it because we feel it is important to return to the original papers as much as possible to form our own interpretation of them.

We used this secondary source to find out information about the AntiFederalists. We think that this is a reliable source due to the fact that it comes from a Harvard Journal.

This article contains information about James Madison. We used this to form information about James Madisons life and political policies.

Epstein, Richard A. "The Federalist Papers: From practical politics to high principle. " Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy 16.1 (1993): 13. Print.
This article contains a critique on The Federalist Papers. We used this to form an idea about the influence these papers had on our nation.

This is one of the main secondary sources we used when finding information on Alexander Hamilton. It was useful and full of information about his life and his political policies.

Appleby, Joyce Oldham. "Creating a Constitution." The American vision. New York: Glencoe McGraw-Hill, 2003. 156-163. Print.
This secondary source was used because we felt it was reliable and it showed the clear differences between the Constitution and the Articles of Confederation. It broke down the Constitution in a simple manner and showed the different viewpoints of the time.

As this is not a very reliable secondary source, we used it mainly to start our research. We gathered basic facts from this page and just got an overview of the history of The Federalist Papers. We were sure to check all the facts listed on the page to make ensure that they were actual legitimate facts.
