CHAPTER PLAN 1. Introduction to the subject a. Theoretical Foundation b. Any existing studies published on this topic and their findings(Literature review) 2. Introduction to the organization or the industry in which the project has been undertaken a. Overview of the industry(History, Growth, Landmarks, major players and their market share) b. Profile of the Organization c. Companys History d. Recent Achievements and milestones e. Product range of the company / industry f. Performance of the company over the last few years(Statistical Profile) g. Financial status of the Organization h. Future prospects/ plans Objectives of the Study & Scope Research Methodology: Important details related with sources of data, sample place, Sample size, sampling technique and methodology to be used should be explained. Data Presentation, Analysis and Interpretation : Use of appropriate statistical techniques ( Hypothesis testing ; Z test, t Test, F test, Multivariate Data Analysis techniques like Factor Analysis, Discriminant Analysis etc.) should be made Findings/Conclusions Suggestions/Recommendations

Executive Summary/ Abstract: The report should carry an abstract (or executive summary) in the initial pages of the report. It helps the reader to get an overview of the report. The length of the executive summary/ abstract can be upto 1- 2 pages and should throw light on the following essential information: Purpose/ objective of the study and its significance Scope of the study and methodology Findings and recommendations

** Bibliography must be presented in the following format: Reference to a book: Kotler, P. (2006), Marketing Management, Pearson Publishers Ltd., New Delhi. Reference for an article: Dorothy, Kristen, (1971), Coping with Short-Term International Money Flows, The Banker, London, September, p.995. Reference to web page: http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/ias accessed on date Note: All references should be given alphabetically. The Literature reviewed should be in chronological order. Project report should contain page numbers starting from Introduction Chapter and should be mentioned in the index
