THE VEDIC DHARM AND MODERN SCIENCE - CHAPTERWISE SUMMARIES OF THE BOOK

NOTE The respected readers are requested to kindly read the overview and Introduction to the Book The Vedic Dharm and Modern Science before reading these chapter-wise summaries. The book contains nine sessions (chapters) and ten essays. This attempt is aimed to introduce the readers the simplified form of the book for quick comprehension of the subject matter

Summary of Session No. I The characteristics of Vedic Dharm

Since humanity is one, Nature is one, God is one, therefore, DHARM IS ALSO ONE

Let us understand the difference between Dharm and Religion :A group of eighty eight thousand scholars of various fields called Shaunak researched the Laws of Nature1 through Samadhi. Years after years the research continued through tradition. The laws were verified by several Maharishis and Brahmrishis. Thereafter the findings were declared as ultimate or - THE WORD OF GOD.

Vedic Dharm

It accepts the existence of Almighty.

It permits several techniques of prayer, called Yoga. These are based on faith and logic both. Open debate is allowed before initiation. To project wholesome view, the scientific part was covered into symbols and myths i.e. it was amalgamated with Arts and Literature. This technique proved interesting, and attractive, hence became popular. Puranic literature is an excellent example of this kind.

NOTE:1 The laws of nature are detailed in chapter No. II. In brief these are :- Sathya; Tapah; Selfless duty and Daana (giving alms). Also law of cycle, Motion/Rebirth; law of opposite/complementarity; law of Karma; law of heaven/hell; cycle of eighty four lakhs of Yonis, concept of liberation and salvation; As the microcosm, so the macrocosm.

Religion:- In fact Religion is the modified form of Dharm. From time to time due to non-understanding of wholesome view1, the masses get confused about Dharm. The blind faith leading to fanaticism prevails resulting into social evils, criminality and bloodshed. To mitigate fanaticism and violence, the prophets are sent on earth. They preach masses the love and brotherhood. The preachings are restricted to suit the local conditions, the taste and calibre of the masses, as they do not understand logic :-

Conclusion :-

Religion is therefore based on local conditions and purely on faith. It is also based on the verdict of a single person and disallows any debate on the verdict of the prophet.

It carries only simplest form of prayer technique. According to the need of the time and conditions prevailing, the prophet sometimes keeps mum even about the existence of God.

Thus the religion is not universal.

NOTE:-

1:- A story of four blind people is relevant in this context, who tried to experience an elephant by touch and could gather only the partial knowledge hence started fighting. The case of religion is similar as the masses can not perceive the wholesome view. This happens in every age. The present day fighting and blooshed is the result of non- understanding of wholesome view of Dharm.

Our institute has tried to show the complete elephant i.e the wholesome view of Dharm through this book, which if understood correctly shall mitigate the fallacy prevailing amongst religions and shall restore peace and global brotherhood. This is the challenging job for the scientific world.

Universality and Vastness of Vedic Dharm Since God is formless and nameless, but functions behind the curtain through the Nature in number of ways. Hence it has been assumed, that ultimate God has divided Himself in number of god-forces (deities), who together run the universe, sustain it and destroy also. The formless and nameless god-forces, which in fact are, various electro-magnetic frequencies have been visualized in human form based on their tendencies, so that the common man can understand easily. These are briefed as under:Lord Rama functions through photon particles, the symbol of knowledge (Gyan) and the life force. The light (photon) particles are emitted by trillions of suns existing on 100 billion galaxies. Lord Krishna functions through dark matter, the powerful force of attraction, the symbol of love and the life force. It keeps all the galaxies dragged and in motion in particular orbit.

Durga - Terrific speed of galaxies generates tremendous amount of kinetic energy. This energy has been personified in the goddess form and is known as Durga . Brahma functions behind two outer rings of stars circling around the centre of milkyway, and performs the function of creation. Vishnu functions behind the third ring of stars of our milky way and sustains the creation Shiva functions behind the central column of the milky way, supports the entire milky way and is the lord of creativity, sustenance and destruction. Rudra The latent force working behind neutrino particles is continuously engaged in destruction and bringing the entire cosmos to the state of non-activity. River Ganga It is believed, that the river ganga is coming down the earth from the feet of Lord Vishnu. This is the language of symbols. The actual meaning is different. In fact it is the symbol of particles constantly raining from the milky way. Since the cluster

of particles raining alongwith others contains proton (Vishnu) particles as well, therefore this composition keeps all the beings alive. The river Ganga is now -a- days polluted by sewer and chemical waste and is not even worth bathing, but the society is still worshipping, because they are not aware of the correct meaning to whom they are supposed to worship. If river Gunga is declared a national river, then it will serve the people in a much better way.

Cow The Symbol of Mother Earth Besides being the compulsory duty of the state (Refer essay no.3 for duties of the state in the book), it is also the sacred duty of every individual to keep the humanity free from hunger, poverty and disease, either by donating through N.G.O.s. or individually, so that the poor are protected from the pains of life, falling to criminality and converting to other religions. The Rishis have, therefore, prescribed a tradition of offering one loaf to cow before enjoying ones own meals. This is a symbolic teaching. The instructions of scriptures have been ignored for over three thousand years causing financial imbalance in the society, leading to social evils like untouchability, hatred, increase in crime and growth of other religions.

Cow - Symbol of Mother Earth

Varna It means colour of the sub-conscious. Green colour has a tendency of a Brahmin, indigo of a warrior and violet of a business class. Accordingly the students in Gurukuls were admitted and education imparted. For the rest of colours, technical education was prescribed. Thus the people lived in the society judiciously and peacefully Aashrama The Rishis resided in Aashramas, carried out research work and the Vedic injunctions were implemented through Kings and Sanyasis. Besides this the Rishi Parshuram, the army chief of vigilance deptt was also deputed for implementation of Rishis instructions.

Vedic Knowledge and Wholesome view It covers three fields of knowledge :(a) Spiritual Science (b) Mythology (c) Physical Sciences Thus the composite knowledge of all the three represents the wholesome view of human life. System of Poly gods The system has been designed for attaining worldly happiness e.g. health, wealth, knowledge and protection from adversities and thereafter leading gradually to liberation/salvation

Comments of an eminent Scientist

The rich Indian imagination has created a vast number of gods and goddessess, whose incarnations and exploits are the subject of fantastic tales collected in epics of huge dimensions. The Hindu with deep insight knows that all these gods are creations of the mind, mythical images representing the many faces of reality. On the other hand he or she also knows that they were not merely created to make the stories more attractive, but are essential vehicle to convey the doctrines of a philosophy rooted in mystical experience. [P-51 The Tao of Physics. - by Dr. Fritjof Capra]

Improved technique of Preaching - This is the superb technique of preaching. The dialogues between gods and Narad. Shiva and Parvati, Arjuna and Lord Krishna are few examples of transmitting subtle knowledge to the masses. This technique does not hurt the ego of the taught, so is easily digested. Rise of Controversies Due to non-understanding of Science of Symbolism, there was a bloody war between Shaivites and Vaishnuvites for over one thousand years. There is still a city known as Miamee in U.S.A, where devotees of two gods line up separately with a dividing wall in between two temples to do Darshan of their gods.

During medieval period, six philosophers initiated very hot debate by proposing their opinions known as Nyaya, Shankhya, Vaisheshika, Astang yoga and Poorvi Meemansa. The matter was ignited by Muni Charvak, stating that there is no spirit or God. This human body alone is everything. Finally Maha Rishi Vedvyas by writing Srimad Bhagwad Geeta also known as uttri Meemansa or Vedanta Dar Shan cooled down the debate, which was known in the language of symbols as Tarkasur killed by the god Shadaanan - the son of Lord Shiva. (Refer Ramcharit Manas I/102-103)

Session No. II The Natural Laws

As already said, Dharm is based on Natural Laws and is derived from the observation of the function of the entire Nature. Out of many given in the book, let us take one example here. All the galaxies are raining energy particles and before completing their individual life cycle, they enliven the dead ones (Refer fig No. 2.01) and thus the universe continues. It is observed that there is the:-

Galaxies raining Energy Particles

1. Strong discipline i.e. Tapah (Austerity). 2. Sincerity Truthfulness (Sathya) 3. Selfless activity Nishkam Karm (Yajna) 4. Sharing with others (Daan)

fig no.2.01

Since nature functions under these four laws, therefore if the human being also follows the above laws in life sincerely, he can go across death. This is the sum and substance of Dharm and goal of human life. The stucture of Jeevatma is similar to the formation of our galaxy. The subtle-body, Antah-Karan, and Kundalini are also identical. These are all formed of electro-magnetic waves.

Kundalini And our Galaxy (Top View)

According to the law As the microcosm, , so the macrocosm the behaviour of atom, human being and the milky way is similar.

fig no.2.03 Besides the natural law of Selfless duty (Nishkam Karm), the Rishis to suit the calibre and taste of the practitioners discovered, other paths of Yoga. Yoga means technique to merge with God. These are (i) Buddhi Yoga (ii) Astanga Yoga (iii) Sankhya Yoga (iv) Bhakti Yoga (v) Tantra Yoga.

Related to the above paths there are some more natural laws e.g. (1) Law of motion/cycle/ changeability/Rebirth (2) Law of opposite/complementarity (3) Law of Karma (Ref fig. 2.04; 2.05 & 2.06). With the help of these figs, Law of Karma has been explained in the book.

Creation of Yonis:- At the time of death, the total record of events forms a specific colour, which becomes the base for the Jeevatma to adopt the next Yoni. The number of colours or yonis work out to eightly four lakhs. Lord Krishna guarantees, if any human being at the time of death remembers His name and form, that being merges with Him. (Geeta - 8/5

Session No. III The Cultural Aspect

Discipline is not a casual affair. It is a habit a way of life.

The aspect of culture is based on the behaviour of Nature. It is designed in such a way so as to lead the masses to understand and adopt the laws of Dharm i.e Sathya; Tapah; Yajna & Daan. Following pictures help us in understanding the behaviour of Nature. These pictures indicate Nature worshipping the formless God.

1. Aarti: Every smaller body constantly revolves around the bigger body in the posture of prostration (inclined posture). This act appears as if they are performing Aarti.

2. Nature worships: (a) The trees by felling leaves, fruits and flowers worship the formless God. (b) Similarly the waterfalls constantly pour water and thus worship Him. On the same pattern the devotees have been advised to perform worship of gods in temples.

Rishis could foresee, that as and when there would be confusion and non-understanding of view of tatality i.e. wholesome view of Vedas, the differences amongst the masses must grow. This will cause hatred, enemity and bloodshed. To safeguard such exigency and permit no change in wholesome ideology of Vedas, following plan had been laid.

1. Ideology of Secularisem 2(a) Vigilance Deptt headed by Rishis Parashuram and (b) Ashwamedh Yajna (For details of 2 (a) and 2 (b) please refer paras 4 and 7 of essay no.7) 3 Cultural Activities

1. Ideology of Secularism: - This term means the tolerance and respect by every community towards the other, who followed different methodology of upasana(Prayer). However each community was bound by the following conditions :1. Acceptance of one Almighty God i.e. Brahman as the Supreme lord. 2. Acceptance of Natural laws (Refer summary of session no.II for details)

Cultural Activities: To keep the masses interwoven into a single thread, forge unity and brotherhood amongst them and finally lead them to understand Laws of Nature and inspire them to tread on the path of Dharm, following plan has been implemented :-

Temples: - Number of temples in every village and city were constructed to keep the masses aware about the existence of Almighty and motivate them to use these temples for daily worship.

(a) Dakshhineshwar Temple

fig no. 3.05

Holy Sites: - Number of holy places like Mathura-Vrindaban; Haridwar, Badri dhaam and so on were constructed.

(b) Badri Dhaam

fig no. 3.06

Natural Sites: - Sites like Amarnath; Kailash, Mansarovar, Jwala Devy and so on were identified. Holy and Natural sites are used by the masses for pilgrimage and are aimed to imbibe holy impressions on their sub-conscious leading to reinforcing faith in God.

(c) Him Linga at Amarnath (Kashmir)

fig no. 3.07

Kumbh Melas:- During Kumbh Melas, bathing ceremonies in holy rivers are performed by the masses. For such gathering four sites have been identified. Such melas forge unity and reinforce faith in God. Bathing ceremonies in holy rivers during auspicious planetary condition increase vital energy (Prana) and bestow mental peace.

(d) Kumbh Mela

fig no. 3.08

Festivals:- Holi; Deepavali; Shravni; Dashehra; Krishna Janmastmi; Rama Navmi are the main festivals. They carry several benefits and are aimed to keep the people socially linked and finally lead to Divinity

(e) Holi Festival

fig no. 3.09 Dance and Music:- The art of music and dance based on Vedic nodes lead to trance and mental peace

(f) Dance and Music

(a) Paintings of Mythologies:- The paintings of mythologies carved out in several caves, hilly regions, temples etc. carry deep spiritual message for the masses.

(b) Translating epics and mythologies on ground:- The great epics like Sri Ram Katha, Sri Krishna Katha, Mahabharat and mythologies like Sri Vishnu Puran, Sri Shiva Puran and Devi Puran etc. were got laid on ground from the kings to reinforce faith of the masses and protect the Vedic ideologies from being destroyed by the crusaders.

(g) Painting of epics

Sanyasis: - Those who had performed their duties sincerely as Vaanprasthis and were good orators were appointed as Sanyasis. They went door to door and preached the masses to remain cautious of falling into delusion of world of matter (Maya).

Satsang:- The saints through their preachings and reciting Ram Katha and Srimad Bhagwat purana kept the masses merged into Bhakti of God and ultimately lead them to divinity.

Scientific way of living life :The scientific way of living life is to follow the disciplines laid down under Sixteen Samskars. Out of them six Samskars (disciplines) are very important as mentioned here under:(f) Varna Ashram System (1) Student life (Brahmachari) (b) Deekshha (2) Married life (Grahasthi) (c) Panigrahan (3) Retired Citizen (Vanaprasthi) (d) Upnayan (4) Sanyas (Sanyasi) (e) Vedadhyan

Chief Samskars:(a) Garbhadhan

1. Garbhadhan: To incarnate healthy and noble souls is the duty of every couple. By ignoring the Vedic norms (disciplines) the world is now-a-days getting filled with offsprings having varieties of diseases, mental disorders and criminal tendencies. Crores of children born are diseased, mentally retarded paralytic and so on.

2. Upnayan Samskar: This means giving such teachings whereby the student developes totally the different view towards the world of matter. This makes the student a Dwij - It means a great soul. Thus he becomes dutiful towards:

(a) Parents, elders, gurus etc. (b) Weaker section of the society, Ashramas, state and humanity. (c) Propagates Vedic knowledge to the world. At the end he sincerely devotes himself to merge with God. To keep the duties reminding all the time, every Brahmchari is prescribed to wear Yagyopveet for the whole life. Yagyopveet contains three threads and is worn around the neck and shoulders

Dear Readers ! Please refer the book for the rest of Samskars.

Note: The above plan can be the guide to the people ranging from medium class and upto phd calibre. For masses living in remote areas like hilly or snowy regions or desert areas suitable courses were designed. For details refer article titled Sanatan Dharm through Scientific eye.

Session No. IV The Ideological Aspect

As already said, that God is formless, hence to explain and initiate masses towards Dharm, the formless had to be brought within the range of senses i.e. they had to be given physical form, particularly human form. This act was performed by Rishi Vishwamitra, who proposed this ideology through Gayatri as follows:(a) He heard the Echo of OM and got this approved as the name of the nameless God from his colleague researchers including Shaunak group. This Echo was produced by the terrific motion of galaxies. (b) Sun was proposed as the symbol of formless God and (c) To experience God, it was suggested, that the Sadhaka should meditate upon the dazzling light (Bhargo) and (d) Pray God to bestow him the pure intellect, so that the restless mind may come under control and Sadhaka (Practitioner) succeeds in medidation

After the principle of iconisation was approved, then godforces working in nature were designed in human and animal forms. Each deity has been provided with a vehicle of matching tendency of the master. These god-forces in fact are frequencies of electro magnetic energy. Each frequency has a specific colour and they lie within Electromagnetic spectrum. As an example orange colour frequency if harnessed through meditation, it can protect us from adversities. The frequency is between 4.60 5.1010 cycles /

second. This in terms of symbols is known as Sri Hanuman. His mantra is Sri Hanumatye Namah. Sri Hanuman is, therefore known as Sankat Mochan god. Sri Hanuman, the monkey, represents the restlessness of mind, therefore, He is the symbol of thinking mind of ultimate God. This is why He has been depicted as a mighty monkey, who swallowed the sun, even when he was a child. There are more stories about his might and heroic deeds.

To convey the spiritual message and educate the masses without teaching physical sciences, the number of Myths1 - were written. The object was to lead the masses to divinity through the path of love i.e.Bhakti. Thus all frequencies of nature or godforces having specific colour were designed Scientifically in appropriate forms and sound vibration of matching frequency became the mantra of that god-force. Thus the power of each godforce once harnessed can fulfill worldly desires as well as can lead to liberation /salvation. This is the greatest contribution of Gayatri and therefore Gayatri is known as Ved mata mahamantra and Savitari mata etc. 1.It means a story whose apparent and literal meaning is different the latent message designed to be conveyed Then came the question as to how the universe visible to us (frequency range 10 were put forward:(1) The creation started by ultimate God (Par Brahm) desiring or doing Sankalpa Aham Bahushyam (Let me become many) Refer chart No. 4.06 in the book. (2) The creation is eternal and it never started, otherwise it will die also, Hence like the son born from his father, keeps the generations continue, similarly the existing galaxies before completing their life cycle and dying, enliven the dead ones and thus the cycle of creation continues - (Refer fig 2.01 in the summary of session no.II)

- 10

) came into existence. Two theories

Evolution of Creation Rishis have described the excellent sequence of evolution of creation. This has been compared vis-a-vis Darwinian theory of evolution. The description by Rishis is, however, in the language of symbols. At the end of the chapter annihilating forces of creation

and their causes have been discussed and final message for the welfare of the humanity i.e. for attaining liberation/salvation has been revealed. The basic message is Kill desires - the mighty enemy. (Srimad Bhagwad Geeta - 3/43). These desires have been categorised under three heads:-

1.

Earning exorbitant wealth (Kanchan) 2. Enjoying wih women (Kaamini) 3. Longing for fame (Keerti) All these desires finally lead us to varieties of pains, sorrows, diseases and the soul keeps on moving in the unending cycles of life and death.

Session No. V The Symbolic Aspect

This has already been discussed, that the principle of iconisation was invented and myths were written for the masses to convey the spiritual message. This very principle has been highlighted in this chapter. The vast literature of Sanatan Dharm full of interesting myths has been decoded refer fig. nos. 5.01 (a); 5.01 (b); 5.02 (a); 5.02 (b); 5.03 (a); 5.03 (b); 5.03 (c); 5.04 (a); 5.04 (b); 5.05 (a); 5.05 (b); 5.05 (c); 5.06; 5.07; 5.08 and 5.12. NOTE: Scientific terms synonimous to the Symbolic pictures shown above have already been described in the summary of session no.

Salient Points : The total life cycle of our milky way is 31,10,40X10 solar years; the number of Manus (14 nos); number of Kalpas (30 nos.), the

time calculation of the present day since the birth of our sun, dawn of Kaliyuga, Dawn of Sathyayuga have been worked out scientifically. The concept of 14 lokas, the influence of planets on human life and how to counteract them have been discussed. The details of Chakras in the human shell existing on spinal cord and cortex have also been highlighted. The constant fight of particles in the space [fig no. 5.04 (b)] known as Devasur Sangram (fight between deities and demons) is the constant play of God behind the curtain. The echo of struggle taking place in the space is translated in the form of bloodshed and destruction on mother earth. Every event on mother earth takes place as a stereo-typed play for which in fact no human being is responsible and can not make any change in the ensuing drama of God.

Comments from a famous Scientist :

According to an ancient Indian mythology, the universe is an organic and rhythmically moving cosmos. It is one of the evolutionary cosmologies which comes very close to our modern kinetic models. This cosmology is based on the Hindu myth of Lila. The divine play. [Page 219-220 The Tao of Physics - by Dr. Fritjof Capra]

An example from modern life :When we are seeing a movie, our sympathies are normally with the hero and heroine and have aversion to the villain. During the play when the villain tortures the hero or heroine, we sometimes become emotional and shed tears also in the cinema hall. But on realisation, that what we are seeing is merely a drama and not truth, then our sorrow mood is washed away and our emotion vanishes. Spiritual message: Similarly when after learning that whatever is happening around is simply a translation of events of Devasur Sangram - The divine play, then we become conscious, that the world of matter is the delusion of human mind and if the human being sincerely wishes to go across death, he should be free from any kind of attachment or aversion and concentrate his mind on non-changing entity i.e. Almighty God, who is directing and playing this drama. In that state of mind i.e. at Zero state of mind, he realises that there exists nothing around except Brahaman. Infact law of Karma operates only till the human mind works.

Session No. VI The Literary Aspect

Since Vedic literature is composed of Dharm and culture and has been seen by the Rishis in the state of trance, therefore it is known as Dharm-Darshan.

Tree of Dharm Darshan (Samskrati + Dharm)

fig no. 6.03 DEFINITIONS

(Refer Mundakopanishad - 1/5-6) I (i) Paraa Vidya :- The knowledge recorded in all the four Vedas about Brahman. (ii) Apraavidya :- The knowledge recorded in Four Vedas + Six Vedangas. This is related to material world (A) Vedangas: -Following six scriptures are known as Vedangas (1) Shikshha: - The method of pronouncing precisely the Sanskrit terminology used in Vedas. (2) Kalpa: - Knowledge of performing Yajnas. (3)Vyakaran (Grammar): - Teachings regarding discipline of Sanskrit terminology; category wise procedure to be followed for understanding the meaning of Sanskrit terms; how to use the terms and its detailed techniques etc. (4) Nirukt: - Dictionary of Vedic terms; i.e. it explains the specific terms carrying specific meaning. The explanation given with reason thereof. (5) Chhanda:- The knowledge explaining the category and difference in between the Vedic verses (Chhandas). (6) Jyotish: - Status of planets and stars (Nakshhatras), computation of their motion and the results therefrom.

(B) Upvedas: following scriptures fall under this category (a) Ayurveda (knowledge regarding physical health and life) (b) Dhanurveda (knowledge regarding warfare) (c) Gandharva veda (knowledge regarding music, dance & arts) (d) Sthapatya veda (knowledge regarding construction of palaces, forts, temples and so on)

(C) Mantras: Following Scriptures fall under this category (a) Brahmanas (b) Aranyakas (c) Upnishads.

Following scriptures deal with the meaning of Dharm in detail :

1. Four Vedas - 1. Saam Veda 2 Yajur Veda 3. Rig Veda 4. Atharva Veda

2. Upnishads - These are normally the end chapters of Vedas. Therefore they sometimes are known as Vedanta. It is said, that the texts of these upnishads are the revelations to the Rishis after they came out of Samadhi.

3. Brahmnas - Following four scriptures are the commentaries on Vedas - (a) Aetraiya (b) Shatpath (c) Taitreya (d) Gopath Philosophies these are six in number (a) Nyaya Darshan (Author Rishi Gautam) (b)Vaisheshika Darshan (Author Rishi Kanad) (c) Astang Yog Darshan (Author Rishi Patanjali (d) Sankhya Darshan (Author Rishi Kapil) (e) Poorvi meemansa (Author Rishi Jaimini) (f) Uttri Mecmansa (Author Rishi Vedvayas) Smirities To guide the society Manu, Yogyavalkya, Vyas, Parashar, Gautam etc. wrote down their opinions in the form of books. These are books of rules. Puranas These are many, but eighteen numbers are mainly known. Srimad Bhaagwat Mahapurana is very popular amongst masses. The Puranas are written in the language of symbols.

Main paths of Yoga:- These are six in number:- 1. Nishkam Karm Yoga 2. Gyan Vigyan Yoga 3. Bhakti Yoga 4. Raj Yoga or Patanjali Yoga 5. Sankhya Yoga 6.Tantra Yoga Mantra The mantra helps in attaining worldly happiness as well as leads to God. It is also formed on the basis of science of symbols. India has suffered enormous trauma due to wrong interpretation of Vedic injunctions, which were in the form of symbols. Few examples are:1. Cow Mohammad Gauri placed hundred cows before his army and Indians laid down their arms as they did not want to hurt their mother (cow). The masses are still following the age old meaning and have limited their minds only in searching the benefits inherent in the dung and urine of the cow. 2. Varna It actually means a specific tendency or behaviour. The poor were not looked after as they should have been. They were rather hated. Whole country therefore got converted to other religions. This blunder is still not amended. Naxalvad, terrorism and reservation issues are the outcome of their wrong interpretations. 3. Felling of temple flag :- Mohd Bin Kasim conspired with the temple priest and got the temple flag fall. The winning army of the King Dahir retreated as they believed, that God is now annoyed. Consequently they saw with their open eyes the massacre, rapes loot and mass humiliation. Supreme Court and Vedic Dharm:- In 1995 Supreme Court of India passed verdict that Vedic Dharm is not a religion, but a way of life. In fact at that time only cultural aspect of Vedic Dharm was presented to the court, whereas the vast magnitude of fundamental natural laws was not presented. Therefore the real difference between Dharm and religion could not be reflected in the verdict resulting in non conveying to the global society the eternal and universal aspect of Vedic Dharm/Sanatan Dharm. Naturally, therefore Vedic Dharm/Sanatan Dharm in the Indian Constitution has been equated to other local reforms known as religions. (For difference between Dharm & Religion - Refer summary of Chapter-I).

Session No. VII The Macroscopic View

As already said, that all researches by the Vedic Rishis were carried out through Samadhi (trance). In this state of mind the difference of time and space vanishes. The speed of mind is extraordinarily enhanced, but remains under control. Few seconds of the human beings on earth can measure billions of light years of space. This miraculous ability of human mind is yet unknown to the modern science. An example from Ramcharit manas is quoted below:Kakbhusundi could visit several galaxies within few seconds of earths time, scale, while he stayed in each galaxy for one hundred years.(Ram charit manas VII / 80 Kha).

Patanjali Yoga provides a systematic method to reach the state of Samadhi.

Modern Science and Micro World:- Till date, over two hundred particles have been identified. There are five permanent particles along with their antiparticles, which live for full term of cosmos, whereas eight more particles are relatively long lived than other short lived resonance particles. These eight particles have been named by the Scientists. Incidentally such naming is also found in scriptures. The number is also eight.

The naming by the Puranikas is according to the behaviour and function of the particles. Following table shows the names given by both.

Names given by Scientists 1. Muon 2. Pion 3. Kaon 4. Eta 5. Lambda 6. Sigma 7. Cascade 8. Omega

Names given by Puranikas 1. Pitar 2. Asur 3. Gandharva - Apsara 4. Yakshha - Rakshhasa 5. Siddha 6. Chaaran - Vidyadhara 7. Bhoot Prait - Pisacha 8. Kinnar, Kimpurusha, Ashwamukha

NOTE :- Permanent particles alongwith their antiparticles have been tabulated in the book.

Maharuas:- The great dance constantly occurring at the platform of the universe is billions of galaxies dancing around an unknown centre the lord Krishna, the symbol of Dark matter. These galaxies have been symbolized and described as gopa & gopies dancing around lord Krishna. Infinite number of resonating particles are producing sweet sound as if lord Krishna is playing flute and so on.

The stories of love between lord Krishna and goddess Radha, hiding of gopies garments; harnessing Kalia Naag; lifting Goverdhan hillock; the meaning of eight empresses and sixteen thousand one hundred queens have been decoded and explained in detail in the book. Essence:- When the Rishis in the state of Samadhi saw the scenario of Devasur Sangram in one Kalpa, they cried out Eureka! Eureka (we have got the final answer). Then they were forced to conclude, that the entire drama, played by the Almighty is His LEELA which He has created for his Ananda (enjoyment). Those who identify themselves with the drama, they suffer, whereas others who remain detached, enjoy the scenario and keep themselves merged into bliss. A Joke:- Some Rishi shot a joke and said, that the Almighty is playing dice with his wife and enjoying. This world of matter(Maya), therefore, is nothing but his PLAY only.

Session no. VIII The Aspect of Health

Diseaseless body is straight road to happiness. Enormous efforts have, therefore, been made since ages to combat with infinite number of diseases, the humanity has been suffering. Consequently number of therapies were invented, practiced and claim of success put forward by the doctors. These therapies can be categorized under following sub-heads:-

(a) Therapies healing up to body level; (b) Therapies healing up to body and Pranic level (c) Therapies healing up to body, Prana and mind level (d) Therapies healing up to body, Prana, mind, Intellect and sub-conscious level. (e) Therapies healing up to spirit level.

Following therapies can be said to be effective for category (a) 1. Ayurveda 2. Unani 3.Allopathy 4. Naturopathy 5. Physio therapy 6. Massaging 7.Chromo therapy

For category (b) following therapies can be named 1. Pranic healing 2. Reiki 3.Pranayam 4. Tele therapy 5. Acupressure 6. Acupuncture 7.Magnet therapy 8. Stone therapy 9. Hath yoga

For category (c) following therapies can be mentioned 1.Tissue remedies 2.Batch flower remedies 3.Psycho Therapy counseling and Aroma therapy

For category (d) following names can be considered 1. Hypnosis 2. Homoeopathy

It has been found by Dr. Hahnaemann that for all types of diseases, whether inborn or manifest at later date, a term known as miasm is mainly responsible. Ayurveda accepts the fact, that the diseases are brought forward by the human beings from their parents due to sins committed by the jeevatma in his previous births. This is what exactly Homoeopathy repeatedly emphasizes. The law of Karma prevails all through and governs the lives of all beings. Infection is a secondary cause. The book explains that:-

Therapies of category (a) except Allopathy palliate the disease, whereas Allopathy suppresses and causes diversion and harms more. This is known as side effects. The surgery cases treated by Allopathy have brought about wonders. This way the patient gets relief and longevity, but continues sufferings in varieties of other forms, i.e. he does not enjoy the boon of mental and physical happiness in totality.

On the other hand Homoeopathy is a holistic and spiritual science, but is very difficult in practice. However a graphic illustration fig 8.01 is enough to prove its efficacy.

Fig. 8.01

Since law of Karma prevails on all of us and Homoeo therapy treats the patient at sub-conscious plane, that is why the patient is cured. Once the person is cured he should thereafter follow the laws of nature sincerely to have painless death. NOTE: - The above description actually is the synopsis of the book The way to perfect health, which covers the detailed description about Homoeopathy. Homoeopathy is a subtle science, but relieves the human beings from the bondage of karma.

Session No. IX The Essence of culture and Dharm

Main Points of Dharm and culture Cyclic motion of creation: - Every celestial body including galaxies is in constant motion. Due to such motion, the time also moves in cyclic order i.e. the creation; sustenance and annihilation of the universe also have fixed periodicity and fixed order. Our galaxy completes one revolution around an unknown centre in thirty crores, eighty five lakhs, seventy one thousand, four hundred and thirty (30,85,71,430) solar years. During this period the creation of living beings on earth takes place on the basis of tendencies and prebirth karmas.

Since lord Rama is the prime mover of the universe, therefore He infuses tendency in all the living beings (Refer Sri Ramcharit manas chapter VII verse between 112-113) and this message moves to every galaxy including our Aakashganga. The Rishis have worked out that on completion of fourteen rounds by our Aakashganga, our solar family gets annihilated. It takes rest for the same period and then again starts moving.

In the universe one very important point noticed is that every living being is bound to die, but the Rishis have discovered the solution to go beyond death. This is the highest research ever made by any scientist group so far. There are more such discoveries made by Vedic Rishis. Few of them are given below:-

1. Process of creation of galaxies is:- Like a son born from his father 2. Creation in constant motions causes:- Echo of OM 3. Law of opposite (An example):- Every particle has an anti-particle 4. Chief Paths of Yoga are:- Shankhya, Bhakti, Gyan - Vigyan, Nishkaam-Karm; Patanjali and Tantra yogas 5. Poly gods is a system for:- Gradual evolution which finally leads to salvation 6. Science of Symbolism:- It nearly matches with modern digital technology 7. Dharm is:- Based on the function of Nature - Sathya, Tapah, Yajna and Daan. 8. Technique to merge with God:- Contemplation, Meditation and Samadhi. 9(a) Knowledge inherent in the web site of each god-force:- This knowledge can be downloaded through Samadhi. (b) Difference between Sambhog(Coition) And Samadhi(Trance)

Postulate:- During the Samadhi state, when the thinking mind gets stilled or has no thoughts, then the neutron particles from the cosmos enter the cortex in huge quantity and the sadhaka experiences a peculiar kind of happiness. This increases the energy level of the sadhaka, whereas during the climax of sex act such neutron particles do enter the bodies of the couple, but they soon discharge from the body and break into protons, electrons and neutrinos. The electrons and protons discharge in the environment, but the neutrinos enter the bodies of the couple and initiate destruction of cells. This is why after intercourse the couple experience sluggishness. The destruction of cells leads to old age faster and excess of such acts may cause several diseases including AIDS.

10. Important useful symbols:(a) Black Tulsi (b) Hansa (c) kalp vrikshha (d) Kaashi (e) Ganga (f) Cow (g) Haridwar (h) Prayagraj (i) Mathura & Vrindaban.

11. Three levels of Vedic knowledge for :(a) Scholars of Grade I : Four Vedas; Upanishads; Six philosophies; Ramayana; Ramcharit Manas; Mahabharata and Puranas plusModern Science .Such persons capable to understand and digest: - hardly 1% (b) Scholars of Grade II : Mahabharata; Ramayana Six philosophies Puranas such persons capable to understand and digest : Broadly 20% (c) Scholars of Grade III : Ramcharit manas, Srimad Bhaagwat Maha Puran sursagar; Puranas and several small tales viz Sathyanarain katha, Kartik Mass katha; Ganesh chaturthi vrata katha etc (for masses say 80%) 12. In religions most simple form of technique based on their scriptures is prescribed.

13. Primary cause of Disease :- The seed of diseases is sown in the sub-conscious due to mental stress caused from number of desires and ten negativities symbolically known as ten headed monster Ravana The stress influences the secretion of Hormones from endocrine glands and thus a psychic knot is formed. The bacteria/virus follow later to eat away the pollution of mind converted into physical ailment.

Therefore the best therapies are:(a) Maintain the equanimity of mind, so that the secretion of hormones remains balanced and (b) Use Homoeo remedies to clear the pollution of negativities brought forward from previous births and added also during the present life, thus get rid of karmas stored into the sub-conscious.

14. Teaching on Convocation day - On convocation day at Gurukuls, the students were taught to behave in life like a dead i.e. Shava+iva (Shiva). This is the essence of living happy life and the formulae to go beyond death.

15. Last prayer If the dying soul remembers the name and form of God, it merges into Him is the lords declaration. Our family had a tradition of singing following devotional song O Lord ! Kindly do at least, when I am taking my last breath as requested below :- (a) I should be at the banks of Ganga or Yamuna and be chanting the name Govind and you be beside me..etc. (Full song may be refered from the book)

It is a beautiful song full of pathy, love and awe... 16. Ray of Hope Possibly during this era of science some electronic instrument may be evolved, which will measure the frequency of human mind at the particular hour and also the frequency of homoeo medicine and match the same. Then the patient shall be cured faster. Hope we may see that day soon.

In the era of science, this book may appeal to scientists and they may come forward and propagate the Scientific religion to the new generation, who is capable enough to understand and digest the same. It is hoped that this will then naturally generate love and global brotherhood. May this happen early.

Vedic Prayer :- Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramaya Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Maa Kashchid Dukh Bhaag Bhavait

- OM Shanti Important :- Hereafter following pages relate to the ten essays, which are classified in

the book as part III. The respected readers are requested to go through these essays also to have the full glimpse of the book.

Human Physiology Anatomy ; Dharm and Symbols

The essence of the ideas expressed by Dr. Frit Jof Capra, the author of the world renowned book The Tao of Physics (P-82-83) is given below:-

The positive charge existing in the nucleus of an atom and the negative charge of electrons can be experienced easily in the macro. Due to these forces of attraction, several atoms are created through chemical reactions, which further form molecules. Such forces of attraction are basis for the creation of all kinds of solids, liquids and gaseous materials as well as the constitution of the physical bodies of all living beings:

The detailed version (Pages 82-83)

The basic force, on the other hand which gives rise to all atomic phenomena is familiar and can be experienced in the macroscopic world. It is the force of electric attraction between the positively charged atomic nucleus and the negatively charged electrons. The interplay of this force with the electron waves gives rise to the tremendous variety of structures and phenomena in our environment. It is responsible for all chemical reactions and for the formation of molecules, that is, of aggregates of several atoms bound to each other by mutual attraction between electrons and atomic nuclei is thus the basis of solids, liquids and gases and also of all living organisms and the biological processes associated with them.
