Instructions
Working with 2 needles, cast on 22 stitches. Row 1( RS). Sl1 knitwise, k across the row. Row 2. Sl1 purlwise, purl across the row. Repeat rows 1 and 2 7 more times - total of 16 rows. Turn Heel Row 1 (RS). Sl1, k11, ssk, k1, turn. Row 2. Sl1, p3, p2tog, p1, turn. Row 3. Sl1, k4, ssk, k1, turn. Row 4. Sl1, p5, p2tog, p1, turn. Row 5. Sl1, k6, ssk, k1, turn. Row 6. Sl1, p7, p2tog, p1, turn. Row 7. Sl1, k8, ssk,k1,turn. Row 8. Sl1, p9, p2tog,p1, turn. Row 9. Sl1, k10, ssk, turn. Row 10. Kl1,p11, p2tog, turn. 12 stitches remaining on needle. Break yarn. With needle 1, pick up 10 stitches along the heel side, with needle 2 knit across the 12 stitches, with needle 3 pick up and knit 10 stitches along the other side of the heel. Total of 32 stitches. Length of Foot Begin working in the round, dividing stitches evenly on 4 needles. Place marker for the beginning of the round. Continue in stockinette stitch for 1" or the desired length of foot before toe shaping.

Toe Shaping Round 1. Needle 1 - k2 ssk, knit to end, needle 2- knit to last 4 stitches, k2tog, k2, needle 3 - k2, ssk, knit to end, needle 4 - knit to last 4 stitches, k2tog, k2. Round 2. Knit Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until 18 stitches remain. Place stitches on 2 needles, divided equally. Carefully turn slipper inside out, with the stitches still on the needles. rd Using a 3 needle Bind-off remove the stitches. Weave in ends. Turn right side out. Stitch fancy buttons to top of slipper.
