NDHD RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

GENERAL RULES 1. This show will be run under Equestrian Queensland Show Horse rules. These rules can be found on both the Equestrian Queensland and Northern Districts Hack & Dressage club websites. 2. All riders will be required to complete a Horse Health Declaration on the day of show. 3. All riders must wear protective headgear to Australian Standard. The retaining harness must be fastened at all times. 4. For safety reasons, all riders must wear suitable riding boots that are both healed and soled with little or no treads at all times when riding. 5. All protests must be submitted in writing to the ringmaster no later than sixty (60) minutes following the completion of the event in question. All protests shall be accompanied by a fee of $110.00 which shall be forfeited should the protest be deemed frivolous. 6. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 7. NDHD assumes no responsibility for injury or damage to any person, property or horse of any owner competitor or assistant. 8. No stallions permitted on the grounds. 9. Classes may be split or combined at the organisers discretion. 10. NDHD reserves the right to alter, amend or delete classes or prizes forming any part of this program at any time. MEMBERSHIP 1. 2. All riders will need to be a financial member of either Equestrian Queensland or Northern Districts Hack & Dressage. Membership cards will need to be sighted at time of nomination. Any rider that is not a member of either can still ride. They will need to complete a 3 Ring Circus Hack Spectacular membership form and pay a $5.00 membership fee. Any rider who signs up for the 3 Ring Circus Hack Spectacular Membership will not be eligible for NDHD Member only classes. Only full financial members of NDHD will be eligible to compete in NDHD Member only classes.

PRIZES 1. 2. 3. Ribbons for all open classes will be 1st 4th. Ribbons for NDHD Member classes will be 1st 6th. Champion, Reserve Champion, Supreme Ribbons and attactive Garlands will also be presented. Random encouragement prizes will be handed out as the day progresses.

CLASS RULES 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Riders are ELIGIBLE to compete in both Hack and Show Hunter classes. Maiden Hack/Hunter Horse & Rider combination to have not won a Hack show class at any Agricultural or Hack show. Novice Hack/Hunter Not to have won an Open Championship at any Agricultural or Hack Show. Should a competitor be awarded Champion Open Pony, Galloway or Hack they will not be eligible to compete for any other Champion. NDHD Pleasure Hack no noseband, no whip and no spurs. To be ridden two handed. No class will be held up for any competitor. All riders will be expected to compete in a professional manner. Any competitor deemed to be showing poor judgement and behaviour towards fellow competitors, committee members, judges or stewards will be asked to remove themselves from the classes and grounds. This rule also applies to any horse being shown on the day.

BURPENGARY EQUESTRIAN CENTRE GROUND RULES 1. 2. 3. A Burpengary Equestrian Centre Ground Levy of $2.00 per horse will be charged on the day. This fee goes back to the governing body for maintenance of the grounds. No dogs are permitted on the Burpengary Equestrian Centre Grounds. This is a by-law of Moreton Bay Regional Council. NDHD shares the Burpengary Equestrian Centre grounds with three other clubs. Please be mindful of this when parking and using the grounds for the show.
