Clan Easgard (The clan my character comes from) Clan Easgard is located on the southern coast and is a small

established harbor village spread along the coast of a small peninsula. The clans primary focus is on fishing, which provides most of the food and trade for the clan. The secondary focus is their ship building which provides their ships for their fishing fleet and trade as well. The clan is comprised of 250-300 people, which places it among the smaller clans. Due to the low population both men and women work in the village, with women often taking on the work of their husbands or mothers when fishing season starts. The clan Elder is Kelvic Torfinn, an aged man but is well liked among the populace. He has admitted he only has a few more treks to the summit left in him. Clan Bondoalt Clan Bondoalt Is located on the northeastern side of Hpora along one of the major rivers. Due to being founded on mainly flat land and taking advantage of the milder climate the people of Clan Bondoalt took to agriculture as their primary profession. Due to this focus the clan is very self-sufficient, and they take a lot of pride in that ability. Over time the clan has spread out to create multiple settlements along the river and during the harvest season all settlement splits their harvest. The multiple settlements have made it possible for clan Bondoalt to become the most populated with over a thousand people. The clan Elder is Rellan Winroch, a middle aged man who took over the position of Elder at the young age of 25 after his father became too sick to make the trek. The clan is very approving of his record as Elder but most outside the clan feel he looks down on the other clans. Clan Styrhold Clan Styrhold is located towards the center of Hpora. They are the most militaristic of the clans with their primary focus being the honing of their fighting force. They are the ones sent when any large scale conflicts may occur, as well of being in charge the coordination of Hporas defenses. They are also known for their proficiency in architecture. Due to the clans strong military force they tend to stiffarm what they want with the other clans. However their military power does not make up for their lack of skilled tradesman. The clan is made up of 700 people most of which are martially trained. The clan Elder is Cainic Wyrth, an aging veteran of many fights. He is a tough leader but does what is neccisary for the benefit of the clan. Clan Grothmunn Clan Grothmunn is found in the mountains of Hpora. Their primary focus is the minng and refining trade. They settled in the mountains for the ability to create large mines fairly rich with ore. Among Hpora Grothmunns are known to be the best smiths and will use their smithing abilities as trade with other clans. The clan consists of over 500 people and most of the men either work in the mines or the forges. The children showing the most intellectual promise enter a special training program to

become clan geologists. The clan Elder is Malkov Kilnhearth, and the clan tends to keep to themselves politically and tend to weigh in neutral on most of the Elders disagreements. Clan Mournrk Primary focus- Supplier of Hporan Timber. Secondary focus- Woodsman and hunting skills. Renown comes from their mastery of the terrain. Location- top end of the bay next to Izea. Often chosen for charting unknown territory establishing the most effect roadways. The clan most like barbarians. Leader is old, stern, and holds the god closer than most adults in the clans. Clan Harfear A port based clan that serves as the ambassadors to the rest of nations. The port offers open trade with any of the nations, forging relationships with the Yenji and some Anasrans. In the rare circumstance that a Noth most travel out on a diplomatic mission, a leader of Clan Braeg will be sent. They are also the most educated of the clan adopting aspects of the yenji education system. They are also the only class to break away from the caste system. This is frowned upon the rest of the clans but due to the diplomatic importance of the clan no one has protested. They are among the biggest of the clans in population and wealth. Primary focus- Diplomacy, Secondary focus- Historians of the clans. Esliam Also known as the Var Braech by the outside world, but referred to by Hporan natives as Esliam.
