FIRE WATCH Certificate of Attendance 10 hours (1 day) 17 years and above, can read and write Lecture and practical Written Examination Qualified Instructor This course is intended for teaching personnel the responsibilities and duties of a fire watch during hot work activities. Which include work site evaluation preparation, monitoring and fire fighting for personal protections. Besides that to ensure all fire watch are qualified, they know their responsibilities, has been trained every 2 years and to ensure that safety Reg. SW 6 NO.2 (G) implemented. The trainees will be:1. Have knowledge skills and right technique in fire watch. 2. Can act accordingly to fight fire. 3. Knowledge in personal protection, other people around and workplace. This course is focusing on the duty and responsibilities of a Fire Watcher. Trainees also will be taught about JSA, Work Permit, Fire Fighting Equipment and Fire Drill. The Fire Watch Training serves as a guideline to watch for hazards after not work has been performed on a renovation or project. A fire watch is implemented to ensure the fire safety of a building or area in the event of any act e.g. hot work or situation instigating an increased risk to persons or property.
