The employees are given Pay Structure in the PB & AGP/GP as per the details given
below for different posts. In addition they are also given the dearness allowance and
transportation allowance. IIT Roorkee being a residential campus, provides residences to
most of the employees, however a few employees who do not reside in the campus are
also given house rent allowance.
