SCADA

Project management and implementation of multi discipline SCADA/Telecom projects. Review functional design specifications, detailed engineering, Design documents, workshop drawings, engineering drawings and schematics. Cost estimate, basic Engineering, FEED capabilities. Tendering, technical and commercial evaluations. Supervise and manage project execution & construction phases (installation, commissioning, site acceptance start-up, conduct FAT, SAT of different SCADA subsystems and ensure compliance with specified requirements, specifications, and contractual constraints as well as providing regular updates to higher management . SCADA systems analysis, design, functionality, operations and integration with third party systems and reviewing engineering documents (FDS, FAT, SAT, etc). Monitoring EPC Contractors during execution phase under the SCADA/Telecom EPC Contract. Prepare the following DOCs: o SCADA/RTUs systems evaluation and preliminary designs. o Technical feasibility studies and cost estimates o Tender book preparation, data sheets, scope of works (SOW), technical specifications, technical material requisitions, outline and workshop drawings, system spare parts requirements. o Basic engineering, FEED - Request for proposals (RFP) o Tender invitation packages (TIB) o Vendors/ suppliers Prequalification documents o Bill of materials and deliverable lists- MRQ, PO. Vendors bid evaluation o Technical recommendation o SCADA equipment selection o Purchase Order Placement Participating in the management of the reliability and integrity of the water grid dispatch control centre by participation in the multi-disciplinary area integrity/reliability management, SCADA accident management,etc Strong management of preventive maintenance activities and ensuring the availability of support contracts, spare parts, special tools and equipment. Participate in the strategic projects and development budgeting plans Ensuring compliance with the company's HSE policy and guidelines in the water environment process. Management, Preparation and execution of technical SCADA training for subordinate SCADA Engineer (abroad, domestic) to develop engineering, programming, maintenance and administration capabilities and skills.
Qualifications: Responsibilities:

Bachelor degree or higher in engineering (computer - power - control). 15 years of experience in a SCADA and project-based working environment, preferably in the WATER and Waste Water, Oil & Gas and Power business. The following certificates shall be appreciated: o CCNA, CCNP o PMP o Oracle, Microsoft, o Other international certificates Strong knowledge with SCADA Multi-Tier Systems: o Telemetry : RTUs, PLCs, flow computers) o Communication ( MTU, Access Servers, WAN, Modems, Protocols; Modbus) o Host: (RTDB, Historian DB, Servers, workstations, LAN, Client-Server Architecture, o High Availability, Storage, Interfacing, Integration) o Networking protocols (TCP/IP) o Computing (servers, workstations, PCs, peripherals)

Industrial communication protocols (modbus, DNP3,, IEC, ..etc) Data transmission through communication media (FO, microwave, GSM, GPRS, 3G, Satellite, Leased Lines, PSTN,etc) Moderated Knowledge in the following: o OPC UA o Ladder logic programming, o Process modeling simulation systems (water, oil&Gas, etc) o UNIX OS o WINCC, Wonderware, FAST Tools, VANTAGE, OASYS DNA, and any other SCADA Softare package. o SCADA Application through WEB o SCADA system Security issues MS Office (MSWOD, MS EXCEL, MAS access, MS project, MS VISIO, Autocad). Field devices engineering to cope with SCADA requirements (RTUs, PLCs, flow computers, and other metering devices). SCADA communications and acquisition techniques. Challenging and committed interest in the cutting edge of the process industry, computerization, SCADA and other industrial information systems. Willing to travel inside /outside. o o
