LaTeX as we know is one of its kind Free Open Source Software , Invented by Prof. Donald Knuth, Modified by Leslie Lamport, and now maintained by over 2500 professionals worldwide through latexproject.org and ctan. Tex User Group, an international non-profit community of TeXLaTeX is spreading this tool worldwide. LATEX is a typesetting system for typesetting your documents in beautiful way using WYSIWYM (What You See Is What You Mean.) terminology.Thus here in LATEX, you gave typesetting instructions to the TEX engine about how to typeset your document just like a markup languages (eg. HTML); and then on behalf of you the TEX engine typesets the document for you.Thus produced documents using LATEX won't looses its resolution on any system. The document you are seeing is actuallydesigned in LATEX. This book is designed with all care for not to include anything which is usually never required by a beginer in LaTeX. At the same time this book is designed in such a way that, after going through it and practicing the detailed examples in it; even a beginer in LaTeX will find it is easy to create articles, reports, theses, books etc... using LaTeX.

Aniruddha S. Rumale , received his BE in Computer science & engineering in 1998 from Amravati University, and ME in CSE in 2008 from Pune University, and MBA in HR from YCMOU, Nashik in 2012. At present he is pursuing his Ph.D. From Amravati University. He is working with S. V. P. Mandals College of Engineering, since 2000, and has14+ years of teaching experience with more than 40papers authored in various National / International conferences & journals . He had taken more than 15 workshops on LaTeX and more than 20,000 students from Pune and other universities in maharashtra uses his notes on LaTeX to typeset their theses/reports etc...

Mrs. Abhidnya A Rumale, received her diploma in Instrumentation from W. R. Govt. Polytechnic, Yavatmal in 1998, and her BE in instrumentation in 2001 from Govt. COE, Amravati, Amravati University, and MBA-Marketing from YCMOU, Nasik.

LaTeX is a Free Open Source document preparation programming language designed by Prof. Donald Knuth in 1977 using WYSIWYM(What You See Is What You Mean) terminology. At present over 2500 authors /programmers are maintaining it through CTAN. LaTeX dominated the typesetting industry due its outstanding typographic details and turing complete document typesetting engine, which produces just what exactly a author, a publisher, and a reader expects in document. Many Universities worldwide, many organizations like IEEE, ACM, Springer, etc..., and many researchers uses LaTeX to typeset their documents using complex typesetting requirments. This book is written for those people who want to typeset their articles, reports, and books in beautifull way. Book explores the LaTeX step by step in tutorial fashion from its very installation to creating complex documents. It details out all generally used common cnstructs of LaTeX to typeset any of your document; as well as provides ready to use template code for all type of documentation. Book is small in size because it contains only that information, which is essential for typesetting an article, a report , or a book and all rest technical details usually hardly required by an author are just kept aside. After reading and practicing the techniques in the book, we are confident enough that, even a novice in LaTeX will find LaTeX more easy than any WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) document preparation system for creation of documentation.
