Large Entry Visits and Special Visits (on a date outside the exam period) cater for Applicants who wish to select their exam dates (see Information & Regulations p15 and Supplementary information p1, entry options). Standard Visits cannot guarantee specic dates/weeks. If you are applying for your candidates to be heard as part of a Visit arranged by another Applicant, you must ensure that you have the permission of the Applicant hosting the Visit. NCN (National Centre Number) Where an institution (e.g. a school or college) attended by the candidate has made a signicant contribution to their work towards the exam (for example, if the lessons take place at school/college), please record the institution's National Centre Number. The Examinations Ofcer at the school or college in question will be able to conrm the relevant NCN, which is issued by the Joint Council for Qualications (JCQ). Recording the NCN allows the capture of examination data for School and College Achievement and Attainment Tables (this data is passed on by the Board to the DCSF in strict condence see Regulation 17m).
