I will make a tutorial of how to preserve baseband on ios 6.1. I made this easy. Nandito na lahat ng mga katanungan ninyo. Magbasa muna para hindi masayang ang oras at pagod. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Para sa mga IPHONE 4. I advise, wag muna kayo magupgrade sa IOS 6.1. Until Ultrasn0w is fixed for Iphone 4. Stay on your current firmware. Or you can pay for factory unlock from the original carrier. Hassle free and the best that you can do. Update: For iphone 4 users, please read this article. It might help. SOURCE

Walang preserve baseband sa mga A5 devices above but you can factory unlock now by calling to its original carrer (AT&T and other international networks). Kailangan ko pa ba i-downgrade yung baseband ng 3gs ko? - Optional lang ito bossing. Sa baseband 6.15.00 (ipad baseband), may signal na ang unit mo basta install mo yung ultrasn0w. Ayun lang, inaccurate yung GPS ng unit mo.
Optional na ang pag downgrade sa IPAD baseband (for 3gs). May signal na rin kayong makukuha sa baseband 6.15.00 (IPAD Baseband)
The iPad baseband is not compatible with 3GS units manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later. If you have an iPhone3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS! It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone! Be warned!
Not sure if your phone has an old or new bootrom? Read the quote below.

on 6.1. Or Basahin ang post na ito sa mga gustong mag downgrade/upgrade baseband WITHOUT downgrading IOS na nasa 6.1 na.. (3GS) Then sunod na ang steps na ito: For 3gs only. Not sure on Iphone 4 with gevey sim. For Iphone 4s and iphone 5, No software unlock for this devices and I cannot provide some besides factory unlocked na ang iphone 5 ko. Pasyensya na. Only Pre-a5 devices lang ang pwede mag preserve baseband. Iphone 3, iphone 3gs and iphone 4 lang ang pwede. May factory unlock na ang iphone 4s at iphone 5 (at&t and other carrer but no idea about globe/smart that is why I prefer buying factory unlock on retailer store than taking a Plan with globe/smart.)
Preserving the Baseband

Step 1. Download ios 6.1 IPSW respectively depending on your device. Step 2. Download Sn0wbreeze 2.9.9. I'll provide mirror links later. step 3. Open Sn0wbreeze and browse the firmware.

(you won't see this if you have an Iphone 4) You will be prompted if you have choosen a 3gs ipsw. Choose the respective ROM. The unit that I am using is 3GS New BR.

Now you will be prompted to choose a mode. I prefer SIMPLE MODE NOTE Simple mode preserves baseband, hacktivate (activate) and jailbreak the device. Kaya wag kayo magalala sa activation. Diretso na ito mga tropa.

When prompted for Hacktivate process, choose "Yes" and wait until the program rebuilds your custom iOS 6.1. wait for sn0wbreeze to create a custom firmware

Sn0wbreeze is done preparing the CFW. Now it is time to take your device to DFU mode. Follow the instructions.

Upgrading process
OPEN Itunes Itunes will detect your phone as in recovery mode. Ignore it.
Press and hold the "SHIFT" key + Click restore Select your custom iOS 6.1 firmware that reads something like Sn0wbreeze_iPhone_XXXXXXX. Wait until the installation process completes and then reboot the phone.

Wait till restoring finish. Be advised that if you experience an error on itunes (or if you stuck at "connect itunes" after restore), simple open up tiny umbrella then click "exit recovery" Now your phone will boot normally but has no signal on it Open cydia and search "Ultrasn0w", install it If itunes wont detect your phone for backups, installing "evasion 6.0-6.1 untethered" on cydia will make it detect. You have now a jailbroken phone with preserved baseband.

Install ninyo yung "Evasi0n 6.x untether". Then reboot the device. Hindi mababasa ng itunes yung phone ninyo kapag hindi ninyo ininstall itong "evasi0n 6.x untether"
How to fix iTunes Error 3194, Error 21 and Error 1013

After searching for long in Apples support page and other sites I came to the conclusion that the error 3194 in iTunes and the other errors are quite common and luckily quite simple to isolate to then resolve. Now the key here is isolate. Try one step at the time. Fixing error 3194 Quit iTunes Download TinyUmbrella. (download links on the sidebar of their site) Open TinyUmbrella (It requires admin account on the computer) Select your iPhone and then click on the Advanced tab. Untick the box Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit (If you need a clean restore from Apple uncheck this box) as seen on the screenshot below Apply the changes.
Alternative As mentioned earlier, what causes the error 3194 in iTunes is the inability of iTunes to contact apple. What TinyUmbrella achieves is to remove any blocks created y a previous Jailbreak or similar to the Apple servers. We can achieve this manually by editing the HOSTS file in Windows or in OS X. All you need to do is to remove any reference to gs.apple.com i.e.: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com. What about the below locked basebands: iPhone 5 basebands: 1.00.16 iPhone 4S Basebands 01.0.11 01.0.13 01.0.14 02.0.10 02.0.12 3.00.04 iPhone 4 Basebands: 3.00.04 3.10.01 2.10.04 iPhone 3GS: 05.16.07 05.14.02 05.15.04 05.16.00 05.16.01 05.16.02 05.16.05 For those who has unsupported baseband above, (3GS users only) update your baseband to IPAD baseband which is 6.15.00 the downgrade to 5.13.04 and ultrasn0w 1.2.8 will work perfectly. Follow the instructions very well and you will just to it once. Just once. The Last screen shot, Ito yung naayos kong 3gs. Working smoothly, I downgraded the baseband from 6.15 before upgrading from 4.1 to ios 6.1 (preserve baseband). I installed ultrasn0w and it worked. How to downgrade your baseband for 3gs/3g

Typically youd have the 06.15 baseband if you unlock with ultrasn0w but updated your iPhone baseband past 05.13.04. With this new capability, you can now downgrade specifically from 06.15 to 05.13.04 (even if you never had 05.13.04 on that device before). This gives you the best of both worlds: ultrasn0w unlock compatibility and a normal iPhone baseband with full GPS. Para sa mga naka IOS 6.1 na, you need to download first the Ios 6.0 IPSW. Nababasa kasi ng redsn0w ang ios 6.0 pero ang 6.1 ay hindi pa. No need to worry kasi downgrade/upgrade baseband lang ang gagawin ninyo at hindi update ng os/jailbreak/restore. Step 1 open redsn0w and click extras button

step 6 Check the Downgrade from iPad baseband checkbox, uncheck Cydia if you already have it installed, and click Next to proceed through the normal DFU ramdisk steps. If you need to upgrade to ipad baseband, just check ONLY "install ipad baseband".
Step 7 Plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button

step 12 After showing some scrolling text, your iPhone will display the pwnapple icon and say Flashing Baseband. THIS STEP TAKES A VERY LONG TIME to complete and there wont be any feedback while its running. Please just let it be for the next 3-8 minutes! When the ramdisk has done its job it will reboot the phone on its own.

Wala nang activation kapag click mo yung "SIMPLE MODE" Kasama na kasi sa simple mode ang: preserve baseband, Jailbreak HACKTIVATE (ACTIVATE) pero advise ko sayo after jailbreak, install mo ung "evasi0n 6.x untether" para mabasa ng itunes yung phone mo.

yup, babalik yan sa carrier lock. kaya makikita mo "no signal". Install mo nalang yung ultrasn0w 1.2.8 sa cydia.
