1) No unrepaired kinks, bulges, soft spots, loose covers, other defects; 2) No cuts, slashes, or gouges that penetrate the first layer of hose reinforcement; 3) No external / internal deterioration; 4) Annually tested at 1.5 MAWP, or approved alternative; does not burst, bulge, leak, or abnormally distort; and 5) Hoses not meeting the requirements of (d)(1) above, may be acceptable after a static liquid pressure test is successfully completed in presence of COTP (test medium is not required to be water). 3.2 Loading Arm Requirements: 33 CFR 154.510 & 156.170(c)(4) (a) Verify no visible defects that would permit the discharge of oil or hazardous material (b) Verify meets the design, fabrication, material, inspection, and testing requirements in ANSI Standard B31.3 (for those placed in service after June 30, 1973) (c) Verify manufacturers certification permanently marked or recorded elsewhere (d) Verify means of draining or closing before disconnect (e) Verify annual tested at 1.5 MAWP, or approved alternative; does not leak 3.3 Transfer Pipe System Requirements: 33 CFR 156.170(c)(2)(4) (a) Verify no visible defects that would permit the discharge of oil or hazardous material (b) Verify transfer system relief valves (TSRV) open at or below United States Coast Guard 5
