Thank you for using the interactive Bose Lifestyle DVD system Connection Diagram Engine. Please be sure to print out these step-by-step instructions and diagrams for your reference while making the connections.
Getting started
Your personal configuration number is 908152. This number can be used at anytime to get another copy of your customized setup and instructions. Please write this number on the inside cover of your manual for future reference. For your convenience, this number is also located with the customized directions that appear at the end of this document. Before you begin we suggest you turn off and disconnect the power cords from all of the devices you will be connecting, including the Bose media center and Acoustimass module. After you have completed the connections, please reconnect the power cords. Make sure you reconnect the Acoustimass module power cord before the media center power cord. It may be helpful to have someone available to assist with the setup. They may be able to help you move the television and hold a flashlight if the area behind your television is dark. We have listed the cables you will need below so you are properly prepared to complete this setup. These cables are available through Bose stores and most consumer electronics dealers.
Cables required:
2 Composite video cable(s) (one 6' cable is included with the system) 4 Stereo RCA audio cable(s) (one 6' cable is included with the system) 3 RF/Coaxial cable(s) (your cable/satellite company may have provided some of these with the setup of the service)
Note: The devices shown in these drawings are generic and may look slightly different from the equipment you own. All efforts have been made to make the drawings look similar to the most common devices on the market. Please reference the labels and notes included with the drawings accordingly.
