Student Council Representatives!!

We are happy to announce that AsTumbo Elementary School will be participating with the Box Tops for Education Program. This program helps to purchase supplies needed in the classroom. These box tops are found in products like Cheerios, Hamburger Helper and Kleenex - everyday items that we purchase at our local grocery store(s). Just look for the logo on the packages. Each box top is worth 10 for our school. We are therefore seeking the help of our students, parents/guardians and communities to support our school by forwarding these box tops to the school via homeroom teacher. Simply clip the box tops of the item(s) purchased ensure that the logo cited above is visible, and forward it to the school. Thank you for your help.

Parent- Teacher Conference Survey

First of all, we would like to thank all our parents who submitted their respective PTC Survey form to the school. It was your choice on what time we are going to hold our PTC. Your response is appreciated. Based on the results on the received parent surveys, we would like to announce the following date and times for our Parent Teacher Conference for 11/7/12 & 4/12/13

parents/guardians, who have waited patiently for their children during dismissal times. For the safety of all our students, we would like to share you the following after school dismissal procedures: 1. School gates are secured at 1:30 p.m. No movements of vehicles are allowed on campus; 2. 2:00 2:15, all students will be escorted to their after school release areas bus, car rider, front walkers and back walkers; 3. Upon classroom clearance, buses will leave campus; 4. Walkers will start to depart campus when the buses leave 2:15 2:25; (Walkers area is located in front of I wing.) 5. After the walkers leave, the front gate will be opened for parents/guardians to enter the campus to pick up their child(ren) at the Car riders area located in front of the cafeteria. 6. Parents will exit the campus through the front exit gate. Note: When there is a late bus arrival, all traffic will cease until all students have boarded the bus. Upon the departure of the bus, traffic will commence again. These procedures are necessary to ensure the safety of all students. Thank you for your understanding.
