Clinton Democratic Club Holds First Meeting of the New Year

The Clinton Democratic Club held its first monthly meeting of the new year on Wednesday, February 20th, at the law offices of Vallone & Vallone. Also, present was Candidate for New York City Public Advocate, Cathy Guerriero, who discussed her Campaign and issues critical to her beliefs, which include advocacy for children, opposition of mayoral control of the citys public schools, and her faith in a grace filled, family oriented campaign. Club President, Paul Vallone, thanked everyone for supporting his kick-off event on January 8th at Verdis for his campaign for New York City Council, District 19, in Northeast Queens. He also outlined upcoming local community events such as the Bayside Whitestone Lions Clubs Tree Giveaway and Scholarship Dinner. A special presentation was made by critically acclaimed local artist, Claire Leder Billings, as she donated her painting of President Obama to the club. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, at 7pm at the law offices of Vallone & Vallone located at 25-59 Francis Lewis Blvd. Queens Borough President, Helen Marshall, will conduct the Installation of Officers.

Clinton Club Kids Meet the Best in Show

Clinton Club Kids met Jemma Jack Cash, an award winning show dog. Her trainer, Al Eckman, introduced her to the kids and showed them some new tricks.

Installation of Officers Next Month!

At our next meeting on March 20th, Queens Borough President Helen Marshall will conduct the Installation of Officers. If anyone is interested in joining the board, please contact our office as soon as possible.

Once again, President Paul Vallone would like to thank everyone who attended his NYC Council Kick-Off Fundraiser in January. Over 200 friends and members helped to raise over $30,000 to start the campaign. The club will keep members updated on the campaign and hopes to see everyone at future events.
