FIVE YEAR AWARDS JANIS BRAGAN BALDA, Principal, Max De Pree Center for Leadership As one of the principal consultants in the De Pree Center, Janis has brought a unique mixture of skills to the De Pree team. She is a theologically trained (Fuller) lawyer (Loyola and Cambridge) with a masters degree in management and a PhD in education (Claremont). She has served as a Vineyard pastor and as a professor of management at both George Fox University and St. Georges University Grenada. She provides the basic management course in the De Pree Leadership Curriculum at Fuller and directs De Pree Works conferences for business leaders. Janis writes, speaks, presents, and consults internationally for the De Pree Center. CHAD CAIN, Associate Director, Admissions As a distinguished member of Fullers Triple Boomerang Club, Chad is currently on his third stint working in the admissions office. He began his employment at Fuller in 2000 as the admissions intake counselor and has subsequently served as admissions counselor and assistant director. In his current role as the associate director, Chad leads a team that shepherds prospects through the application process. He continually blesses prospective students and staff with his welcoming and

joyful spirit coupled with his commitment to service and developmental leadership. The Admissions Office truly would not be where it is today without Chads many contributions.
SIGNE CARLSON, Assistant Director, Fuller Southwest Signe is a gift to Fuller Southwest. She started there in 2002 before taking a break to complete a masters in human resource management at Texas A&M. By Gods grace, and her kindness, she returned to FSW and is now its operations backbone. She has made our fundraising, scholarship program, and advising run smoothly. She loves Jesus Christ, Michael Carlson (her husband and fellow Fuller alum), her native land of Denmark (but not its cold and damp weather), and the people of Njuruta, Kenya (she has visited them three times). We thank God for her! BARBARA A. CHOY, Assistant Director, Field Education & Ministry Formation Throughout her five years at Fuller, Barb has shared her professionalism, dedication, and deep spirituality with Fullers students and employees. In addition to advising students in their internships, Barb also manages the transition of all internship courses to Moodle. Barb co-leads ArborSpring Ministries, which she cofounded, a ministry whose vision is to see God restore, transform, and equip people for ministry and leadership. Prior to Fuller, she worked for World Vision for sixteen years doing

project evaluation, staff and leadership development, and international human resources management in sixteen countries.
JONATHAN DAMIANI, Recruiter, Admissions Jon, an MAT graduate, uses his own positive student experience when traveling around the country telling the Fuller story on behalf of admissions. As a first-rate recruiter, he has honed his considerable skills visiting college campuses and national conferences. Much strategic planning and detail work is required to be in the right place with the right message and materials. Jon is also a valued participant in admissions events in Pasadena and sets the gold standard for our campus tour. Jons tireless efforts on the road have resulted in relationships that will bring new students to Fuller for years to come. BETHANY HALL FITELSON, Program Manager, Fuller Northern California In her time at Fuller, Bethany has served as the program manager and academic advisor at the Menlo Park campus where she is also an MAT student. Bethany does an outstanding job and has been a tremendous asset to FNC. When not working at Fuller, Bethany serves as a youth leader with her husband, Danny, at First Covenant Church in Oakland. Bethany and Danny have a daughter named Sophia Hope Fitelson (aka littlefittel). In Bethanys own words, I love movies, good rock and roll (meaning Bon Jovi), am a life-long fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and I love hanging out with teenagers!

JOYCE HIENDARTO, Executive Director, Integrated Marketing & Communications Born and raised in Indonesia, Joyce completed her undergraduate studies at Goshen College and a masters degree at Ball State in Indiana. Desiring to work in Christian higher education, Joyce traveled to California and was soon hired by Fuller's admissions office. Her skills and talents were just what Fuller needed as we transitioned from print-based recruitment to the digital world. With her cheerful, friendly, winsome ways, Joyce took us in new directions, including e-brochures, live video streaming, online ads, and short videos to tell our story. In her new position at IMC, the whole institution enjoys her delightful spirit and benefits from her excellent work. MARTHA HUNYADI, Student Financial Counselor, Student Financial Services We are so glad Martha is a member of the SFS team. As a student financial counselor, Martha assists students with Fullers financial aid process. She is also a trained member of the Fuller Lean Team and regularly conducts process improvement kaizens around the seminary. Martha dominates in intramural sports and enjoys trekking out on weekends to the family cabin at Joshua Tree. Blessed with the gifts of hospitality and baking, she is well-known as the Queen of Cupcakes, providing a neverending supply of creatively decorated tasty treats every time the SFS office celebrates a birthday or other fun event.

MARTN JIMENEZ, Student Services Coordinator, Fuller Northwest Martns voice is the first one callers hear when contacting Fuller Northwest. For the past five years he has been the first line of support for seasoned students and neophytes alike. Martn provides so much to Fuller students in Seattle, from a listening ear in times of crisis to amazingly patient support for Portico and Moodle. In his spare time, Martn has been completing an MDiv and will graduate this spring. He is currently a candidate for ordination with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Once graduated, he will marry his sweetheart, Ali, in August. GRISELDA JOHNSON, Student Financial Counselor, Student Financial Services Griselda, or Griz, as she is known within the office, is a mighty contributor to the overall success of the SFS team in her role as a student financial counselor. She is a trusted source of assistance to many of Fullers Spanish-speaking students. When not in the office, Griselda likes to play softball and spend time with the two men in her life, her husband, Charlie, and threeyear old son, Ezra. She is also a Pamperered Chef consultant and has recently taken up crocheting. Griselda brings an enthusiastic Salvadoran outlook on life that the entire office enjoys. Shes awesome! DAVE KLUDT, Coordinator of Academic Planning, Doctor of Ministry Dave has spent five years at Fuller as both a student and

employee. He began working at Fuller in SFS before moving to DMin in 2010, the same year he earned his MDiv from Fuller. He and his wife Krissy live in East Hollywood, where Dave is a bi-vocational pastor at Kairos Hollywood, a creative urban church plant. Dave has first-hand knowledge of the challenges of ministry and the ways pastoral ministry is evolving. He enjoys traveling and photography and is an avid reader of theological books and blogs. He keeps the DMin staff laughing with his jokes and one-liners, which you can read on twitter by following @FakeKludt.
DANIEL D. LEE, Asian American Theology and Ministry Initiative Coordinator, School of Theology Daniel provides significant leadership for the Asian American Theology and Ministry Initiative at Fuller. His vision for developing an Asian American contextual theology emphasis has greatly assisted Fuller in its diversity program planning. Prior to his work with AATMI, Daniel served as systems coordinator for the housing office and in 2008 founded the Asian American Theological Fellowship, an ASC student group. In 2010, Daniel completed a ThM in mission theology and is currently working on a PhD in theology. Daniel and his wife, Judy, have two young daughters, Annabel and Priscilla. KATHERINE LEE, Coordinator of Library Development, Library Administration Katherine brings humor, joy, and a down-to-earth perspective to the team at the David Allan Hubbard Library. Her ability to

write persuasive and accurate grant proposals has led to gifts from the Ahmanson Foundation and the Virginia H. Farah Foundation, to name just a few. Katherine is a vital part of library communication and develops content for the library blog, website, and social media. In addition to her library work, Katherine wrote the stage production performed at the Lausanne Conference in 2010, and poetic liturgy for the 2012 Festival of Worship. We are grateful to have Katherine on our team.
BEA LIRA, Guest Relations Representative, Guest Center When you arrive at the Guest Center and are greeted by Beas warm and friendly smile, you may do a double take for Bea is also a much loved barista at Starbucks at Los Robles and Colorado! Bea was personally recruited to work at the Guest Center by Curt Roberts while on his daily Starbucks run. Connecting with and taking care of people is Beas passion and we are so thankful to have her as an integral part of the guest relations team. When Bea is not taking care of our guests or Starbucks customers, Bea enjoys her husband and four sons. She loves to read, spend time walking with friends, and drinking coffee! OSCAR O. MENDOZA, Director of Operations, School of Psychology Oscar directs the operations and staff of the clinical and MFT departments and oversees many of SOPs departmental events. He brings an organized and disciplined approach to his job and

eagerly serves the needs of faculty, students, and staff. He is also an excellent draftsman and enjoys using this talent to help redesign spaces for the use of faculty and students. Oscar completed his MDiv at Fuller and serves as an ordained Assemblies of God minister at Trinity Church in San Fernando. Oscar emigrated from Nicaragua at age 15. He and his wife, Rosie, a first grade teacher, have a teenage daughter and a son in elementary school.
DAVID MOORE, Coordinator, Continuing Education In his work for the Lowell Berry Center for Lifelong Learning, David is the editor of The Burner Blog (theburnerblog.com) and coordinates podcasts, workshops, and events that serve as resources for pastors and churches. David, his wife, Leah Beth, and their boys, Joel and Silas, live in La Crescenta and attend Montrose Church. An aspiring screenwriter, David is a creative writer and designer and always has a funny email or story about his sons to share. He also enjoys hiking and surfing. David knows everything about expensive foreign cars, so ask him any question about them. But more importantly, if you own one, hed love to drive it! MICHAEL W. MOORE, Video and Digital Archiving Specialist, Information Technology Services Mike has been stalwart in keeping video alive at Fuller, often working alone and unheralded in his area of expertise. He takes great pride in his work and has shot many hours of video for Fuller and edited even more hours of footage. He has a pleasant

disposition and enjoys collaborating with other people to make sure their needs are met. One word to describe him is striving. When not working on video editing or school work, he enjoys volunteering at his church, working with youth, playing board games with friends, the company of dogs, watching sci-fi, playing trombone, and, of course, doing all things video.
CONNIE H. NGUYEN, Senior Accountant, Finance & Accounting Connie has been an integral part of OFA since joining the team in 2006. She does invaluable work with the Banner Finance system and has served as the liaison between OFA and Banner users in other departments. She has also helped to implement several components related to Banner, including TouchNet and Marketplace, and is currently working on better reporting methods for Fullers financial data. Connie enjoys the people at Fullerher co-workers and studentsand has found her time with Fuller to be one of much learning. Away from work, Connie enjoys being with her family. We are blessed to have her! DAVID PARRIS, Associate Director, Fuller Colorado David (PhD, University of Nottingham, 99) has been the associate director for Fuller Colorado since 2006 and has been a regular adjunct for Fuller since 1999. He has taught more than 100 courses, including all of the core New Testament courses and the full Greek sequence. Dave is a highly creative teacher, frequently named as a favorite professor by Fullers Colorado

students. He brings a variety of teaching methods to his course, and is proud to be an adopter of all the coolest technologies. As an avid cyclist, he proudly wears his spandex each day when he goes for his lunchtime bike ride with the local cycling crowd.
LARRY PUGA, Mail Clerk, Mail Services Larry has been a blessing to the entire auxiliary services team. He can be seen walking around campus daily delivering the mail to all departments. He enjoys his time at Fuller and the chance to meet and become friends with everyone he contacts. Larry likes camping, going to the beach, and is a big fan of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Larry is involved in his church, where he serves as a deacon and a mentor. He and his wife, Lilian, are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in March. They have two children, Jennifer and Joshua. ROXANNE RISTOW, Human Resources Coordinator, Human Resources Originally hired as the payroll assistant, Roxannes role has expanded to coordinating human resources processes and serving as a bridge between HR and payroll functions. Her love of puzzles helps her work on a day-to-day basis with the intricacies of how the payroll, HR, and other systems interrelate with each other. Roxanne is committed to her family and community, even making a weekly trek out to Lancaster to visit the church, which initially brought her from Washington State to California for a ministry internship. Her undergrad is from APU in organizational leadership.

ABEL SAUNE, Custodian, Custodial Services Abel is a valued member of the custodial services team. He has been preaching to his fellow Inca since he became a Christian at the age of 13. In 1980, he came to the United States and later earned an MA in missiology and an MDiv from Fuller. As a missionary, Abel has visited most of the 1,200 Native American tribes of North America and has taught entrepreneurship to their youth. Abel has appeared in several films and TV shows, including The Magnificent Seven, Dancing with Wolves, and Emerald Forest. He was also a consultant on Walt Disneys, The Emperors New Groove. DAVE STUTZMAN, MAGL/DMiss Coordinator, School of Intercultural Studies Known by many at Fuller, Dave served in the development office and SIS advising before most recently working for MAGL/DMiss. Daves thoughtful nature and penchant for strategy games shine in his dedication, professionalism, and input into the success of the DMiss programs and students. The high value Dave places on relationships and collaboration has enriched his team both personally and professionally. His servant heart, along with a good sense of fun, has endeared him to his colleagues, who recently rejoiced with him at the birth of his first child with his wife, Rebekka, a current MAGL student. NICOLE SWEENEY, Research Secretary/MFT Coordinator, School of Psychology Nicole provides administrative support to the MFT department,

where her caring demeanor is an essential reason for the smooth operations and excellent service provided by the department to students and faculty. In her free time, Nicole has been involved with Stephen Ministry, a group that trains lay caregivers to provide care and support to people experiencing grief. Nicole also enjoys reading, watching moviesespecially old musicals and comedieslistening to music of all kinds, traveling, horseback riding, canoeing, and attending concerts.
MATTHEW TALLEY, Manager, Student Affairs Everything Matthew does at Fuller is shaped by his commitment to student care. His responsibilities include overseeing new student orientation, managing student groups, and being part of the pastoral care team. Matthew is a consummate team player, always looking for opportunities to find collaborative solutions. Matthews talents, however, are not limited to student care. He is also a skilled carpenter (check out the prayer kneeler in the OSA prayer room!), a coffee savant, and an outdoor guru. Matthew and his wife, Melinda, recently welcomed their second child, Kyle, to the family. To celebrate, he joined the MAGL program. Bravo, Matthew!

TEN YEAR AWARDS JANE DILLINGHAM, Accountant, Finance & Accounting Jane began working at the Fuller Bookstore in 2002 where she was renowned for her warm professionalism, impeccable

accounting skills, positive approach, and efficient execution. She recently joined the OFA team and has been working hard to implement several regulatory compliance procedures for the seminary. Jane enjoys working in the caring environment that Fuller provides. She spends her free time cooking, entertaining, skiing, hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time with her husband, Jeff, and 16-year-old son, Colin.
DAVID KWON, Manager, SIS Korean Studies David has been a key member of Korean Studies since June of 2002. His willingness to put in extra work while ministering and caring for students, staff, and faculty has touched many. He received his MDiv from Fuller and is currently working on a DMiss. David has always been committed to leadership development and improving his own leadership qualities. He is also dedicated to supporting missionaries and serving on shortterm missions. His colleagues truly appreciate all his service. GILBERT LUGO, Accounts Payable Assistant, Finance & Accounting Gilbert has been working in OFA as a member of the accounts payable team since 2001. In those 10 years, Gilbert has worked diligently and quickly to process the bills and payment requests at Fuller. He enjoys working with the people of Fuller and credits this to the feeling of community that is emphasized here. In his free time, Gilbert enjoys cars and car restoration, drawing, and is an avid fan of the Dodgers, Lakers, Broncos, and 49ers.

CHRIS MURPHY, Senior Admissions Counselor, Admissions As an ordained Presbyterian minister and spiritual director, Chris brings a pastoral heart to his work. Chris developed the journey of discernment used at admission events and can often be seen praying with prospective students in his office. As senior admissions Counselor, he advises all School of Psychology applicants and his peaceful and quiet spirit is greatly appreciated by all. Chris also serves current students by leading prayer retreats at the arboretum and assisting in the Office of Presbyterian Ministries. Soon expecting their second child, Chris and his wife, Karen, a Fuller PhD student, are valued members of the Fuller community. RAMON OCAMPO, Database Manager and Analyst, Development Office Ramon began his career at Fuller as the computer systems coordinator for Alumni and Church Relations after receiving his MA in library science at UCLA. In 2011, he transitioned into his current position where his considerable expertise with Banner is used on a daily basis. Fundraising appeals, event invitations, and board reports are just a few of the mission-critical projects that could not happen without Ramons involvement. A critical thinker and good listener, Ramon always takes time to learn the needs and objectives of his projects. When not at Fuller, Ramon and his wife, Diane, enjoy working on their newly purchased craftsman bungalow.

BEN STARKEY, Data Entry Operator, Security and Parking Ben grew up in Huntsville, Alabama where he was active in the church. He committed to following Jesus in adolescence and went on to study religion at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He enrolled at Fuller in Fall 2000, completing his MDiv in 2008 and his MAICS in 2010. In 2001, Ben began working for security and parking and has enhanced the department considerably ever since. Outside Fuller he has served in youth ministry programs, as a hospital chaplain, and in prayer ministries. Ben is also interested in and is currently conducting research on physical health and healing. JIMMY TAGGART, Custodian, Custodial Services For the past ten years, Jimmy has worked both in the Mail Center and in Custodial Services as a valued and dependable team member. His consistent positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile in any area make him a treasure to his colleagues. Jimmy begins his morning at 4:00 a.m., unlocking campus doors, setting up for campus events, and filling in for absent custodians. He enjoys playing acoustic guitar and drums, has performed in the Fuller Follies, and also led a summer chapel service. Jimmy loves baking cookies from his secret family recipe and sharing them with the Fuller community. TONI WALKER, Associate Dean, School of Intercultural Studies As associate dean of SIS, Toni oversees educational effectiveness, resource and personnel management, strategic business

planning, fundraising, and community outreach and collaboration. She is passionate about strengthening institutional operations through capacity building, cross-cultural leadership development, and organizational management. Toni completed her MAICS at Fuller with a concentration in children at risk. She serves as a board member for both Tyndale House Foundation and Viva, an international NGO focused on building global networks between ministries and organizations that care for children.
NYI NYI WIN TIN, Custodian, Custodial Services Nyi Nyi is an important member of the Custodial Services team. In 2001, he and his family came to the United States after living in Japan for 17 years. Fuller was his first place of employment in the United States. In addition to working at Fuller, Nyi Nyi also works as a mail processing clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. When he is not at work, he enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with his family. Nyi Nyi and his wife are from Burma and have 2 daughters.

FIFTEEN YEAR AWARDS KIM ANDERSON, Director, Fuller Northwest Kim Anderson is an alumnus of Fullers first off-campus MDiv cohort, so is well suited for his role overseeing the northwest campus. A man of many roleshusband, father, and grandfatherKim has used his long business experience and

family skills to nurture both FNW as a whole and its MDiv students in particular. A Seattle native, Kim is heavily engaged in establishing FNW with a firm financial base for the future. His hobbies include gazing at the surf on the Oregon coast with a crime novel in his lap, enlarging his enormous DVD collection which he freely shares with family and friends, and searching for lost items on his massive desk.
HEPHZIBAH A. PURTEE, International Student Advisor, International Services Office Hephzibah rarely forgets a name or a face and people who have met Hephzibah rarely forget her. She leaves an indelible impression on people with her genuine care and warmth. For the past 15 years she has faithfully served Fuller in various capacities in admissions, housing, and ISO. In her role as the international student advisor, Hephzibah helps students navigate the complex maze of visa regulations while utilizing her gift of hospitality to create a home away from home. When shes not busy sharpening her knowledge of federal immigration regulations she likes to watch movies, sing, and eat good food. KENICHI YOSHIDA, Associate Director of Academic Affairs, Marriage and Family Therapy Kenichi came to Fuller in January 1997 as an SIS student and completed an MA in intercultural studies in 2003. He worked with the late Dr. Jorge Taylor and was subsequently hired by SOP to work in the MFT department, a job Kenichi handles with pastoral care and complete dedication. Kenichi is married

to Sayuri and they have a 12-year-old son named Ken. Kenichi serves as an associate pastor of discipleship at Pasadena Church. His hobbies include spotting airplanes at LAX, collecting die cast airplane models, rooting for his son at little league games, and sampling Asian cuisines.

TWENTY YEAR AWARD JOHN W. SPANGLER, Building Specialist, Building Services One of the best ways to learn about John is to note the adjectives his coworkers use to describe him: down to earth, never complains, always does whats asked of him, consistent, hard worker, very authentic and genuine, and father-like. Well respected by his fellow crew members and office staff, John is a man of few words but he can still spin a story or two about life back in the day that will keep his coworkers rolling on the floor laughing. John truly puts the good of others before his own and everyone in Building Services wants to be just like John when they grow up. JESSE VEGA, Vocational Development Director, Vocational Discernment and Career Services Jesse began his Fuller career managing new student orientation, student events, the SEMI, student health insurance, and other student service areas. He then moved to the presidents office to assist with trustee affairs and special projects. After that he was the director of leadership programs at the De Pree Center. For

several years now he has been the director at VDCS. In his spare time, Jesse is a chaplain in the Army National Guard and has been deployed to Iraq. He holds BAs in psychology, history, and Bible and has an MDiv and MA in leadership.

THIRTY-FIVE YEAR AWARD JOLLENE ANDERSON, Director of Operations & Academic Systems, School of Theology Jollene is one of Fullers gems. For over three decades she has generously given her many gifts to the Fuller community. She is renowned for her faithful and excellent service, her legendary ability to have volumes of institutional history and administrative information available at her fingertips, her high level of professional competence and practical administrative skill, her unfailing support of and care for faculty and staff in their daily work, her notable blend of professional and personal qualities, her keen sense of equity and justice for students and staff, and her exceptional ability to provide objective alternatives for the resolution of a dilemma or problem while leading others toward what she thinks might be the best possible path to take. It goes without saying that she has performed her work with distinction. Fuller is a better place because of her. Thanks be to God!

TWENTY-FIVE YEAR AWARD Dolores Loeding Service Award

This award is offered as a tribute to those employees who have served in the ministry of Fuller Theological Seminary for twenty-five years. It bears the name of Dolores Loeding, who served the seminarys faculty from 1947 until her retirement in 1992. In her life and work she exemplified excellence, dedication, love, wisdom, and a sense of humor that has embraced all who walk through the seminarys doors.

CHRISTINE C. CERVANTES, Director of Academic Planning, Academic Programs Christine has worn many hats during her long service at Fuller. She now serves Fuller as the director of academic planning, with oversight of the production of a two-year schedule for all of Fullers campuses (including Fuller Online), the hiring and support of adjunct faculty and teaching assistants, as well as the approval, editing, and posting of expanded course descriptions. Her employees value the way she manages the office with grace, humility, and a great sense of humor, as well as her extensive knowledge of Fuller systems, history, and personalities, gained over her twenty-five years of service.

FIFTEEN YEAR AWARD EDDIE GIBBS, Professor Emeritus of Church Growth Eddie came to Fuller from England with an extensive interest and experience in mission and the church. Eddie has taught on the subject of the churchs response to modernity and postmodernity in becoming a missionary presence. While he no longer travels nearly as much as he used to, Eddies still in touch with whats happening in the church around the world. However, he does manage to enjoy an afternoon nap whenever possible. TIMOTHY PARK, Associate Professor of Asian Mission and Director of Korean Studies Tim is one of the most traveled faculty members in SIS and is an expert in cross-cultural church planting and Korean mission. Before coming to Fuller, he served as a chaplain in the Army of the Republic of Korea and as a missionary to the Philippines for 15 years. Tim founded and served as President of the Presbyterian Theological Seminary, one of the largest seminaries

in the Philippines. Tim now teaches and mentors the students and staff of the Korean Studies programs in SIS. In addition to being a well-published author, Tim is a popular speaker in churches around the world.

THIRTY YEAR AWARD R. DANIEL SHAW, Professor of Anthropology and Translation As a missionary kid, Dan grew up in India and the Philippines. Before coming to Fuller, he served in Papua New Guinea as a Bible translator among the Samo. At Fuller, he started a translation program, was instrumental in building relationships with schools in India and Indonesia, and helped found the SIS DMiss cohort program. In 2006, he married Georgia Grimes, and in 2011 they established the Karen Shaw Memorial Library with funds raised by students at Pasadena Christian School where Dans late wife Karen taught for 20 years. Dans pride and joy rests in his three sons and five grandchildren.

THIRTY-FIVE YEAR AWARD BETTY SUE BREWSTER, Associate Professor of Language and Culture Learning Betty Sues Facebook page is a window on the world! She has taught language and culture acquisition to missionaries in over

80 countries and is a wonderful teacher and role model. As a missionary kid from Venezuela, she served short-term in countries including Mexico, Bolivia, Kenya, and Ghana. She relocated to Vancouver, Washington in 2006 to be close to her family, but continues to teach at Fuller and internationally. Betty Sue developed the relationship and interaction-focused Language Acquisition Made Practical (LAMP) book with her late husband Tom, and she helped her mother, Martha Green, organize and publish her life story, Pioneers in Pith Helmets.

TEN YEAR AWARD MARI L. CLEMENTS, Associate Professor of Psychology Mari received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Denver in 1994. After seven years on the faculty of The Pennsylvania State University, she came to Fuller in 2001. Her research centers on the effects of marital conflict on family members, on familial functioning at times of transition, and on the prediction and prevention of marital distress. She and her students have presented at numerous national research conferences and authored both book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. LISSETH ROJAS-FLORES, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Director of Clinical Training for Marriage and Family Therapy Program Lisseth worked as a part-time research assistant professor and program coordinator for the Fuller Youth Initiative before joining the faculty as assistant professor in September 2004. A licensed clinical psychologist, Lisseth oversees the clinical training program for the marriage and family department. FIVE YEAR AWARD SARAH MARION, Assistant Professor of Psychology Sarah joined Fuller faculty in 2006, after serving on the faculty at Point Loma Nazarene University. Sarahs research focuses on understanding the pattern of psychological and neurocognitive deficits associated with various neurological and psychiatric syndromes such as reading disorder, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and epilepsy. Her work has appeared in the American Journal on Mental Retardation, the Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society, and the Journal of Health Psychology. She teaches courses on human neuropsychology, child neuropsychological assessment, and psychological interventions relevant to an aging population. She is a member

TWENTY-FIVE YEAR AWARD CAMERON LEE, Professor of Family Studies Cameron came to Fuller Seminary in 1980 as a student in the School of Theologys marriage and family ministry program. He completed his MDiv and his PhD here. He joined the faculty in 1986 while completing doctoral studies. Dr. Lee, a beloved teacher and mentor, is the author of numerous articles and books. He is a certified Family Life Educator, as well as a licensed Family Wellness Trainer. His ministry off campus consists of regularly preaching, teaching, and providing marriage and family life workshops. His wife, Suha, is a Fuller alumna.

Her passion is to explore how Christ is inviting the church to be shaped by the gospel as it faces complex ethical issues in a new century. He has more than 25 years of seminary teaching experience in multiple countries. Joel has written or edited more than 30 books and scores of essays and reviews. Among his most recent publications are Practicing Theological Interpretation, Dictionary of Scripture & Ethics (gen. ed), and Recovering the Scandal of the Cross (2nd ed.). He is New Testament editor of the Common English Bible and editor of the Journal of Theological Interpretation. Joel has 12 years of pastoral ministry, and is currently Teaching Pastor at La Caada United Methodist Church.

GLEN HAROLD STASSEN, Lewis B. Smedes Professor of Christian Ethics Glen came to Fuller with 34 years of teaching experience at Duke University, Kentucky Southern College, Berea College, and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His primary research and teaching interests are theological ethics, incarnational discipleship, peacemaking, social justice, and our need for healing in what he calls an Age of Interaction. He has been recognized with Fullers All Seminary Council Faculty Award for Outstanding Community Service to Students and the C. Davis Weyerhaeuser Award for Excellence in Teaching. His publications include: Living the Sermon on the Mount, Just Peacemaking, and the forthcoming book Incarnational Discipleship in a Secular Age.

He recently contributed The Changing Shape of Religious Ideas in Enlightened England, in Seeing Things Their Way. Currently, he is working on a revised edition of Church History: An Introduction to Research, Reference Works and Methods and a book on religion in the English Enlightenment. In 2010, the volume Religion, Politics and Dissent, 16601832: Essays in Honour of James E. Bradley was published to acknowledge his work. In addition to mentoring PhD/ThM students, Jim taught in the DMin Christian Spirituality cohort. Jim is a recipient of Fullers C. Davis Weyerhaeuser Award for Excellence in Teaching. DONALD A. HAGNER, George Eldon Ladd Professor Emeritus of New Testament and Senior Professor of New Testament Prior to joining the Fuller faculty, Don taught at Wheaton College, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and Wheaton Graduate School. He was a musician in the U.S. Navy Band in Washington D.C. During his time at Fuller, Don received the C. Davis Weyerhaeuser Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Golden Award from the Christian Booksellers for the Best Commentary of 1995. The author of numerous publications, he recently completed a New Testament introduction (Baker Academic) to appear in the coming year. Although now retired

from full-time service, Don continues mentoring PhD students and teaching occasional courses in his senior faculty role.
RUSSELL SPITTLER, Provost Emeritus and Professor Emeritus of New Testament Throughout his multidisciplinary career as Navy reserve chaplain, pastor, professor, and provost, Russs top priority has always been to be a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ. In addition to teaching at Fuller, Russ held administrative posts as provost, associate dean of the School of Theology, and founding director of the David du Plessis Center for Christian Spirituality. A former provost at Vanguard University, Russ currently serves on the board of trustees at Oral Roberts University. Ordained in the Assemblies of God, he has lectured on ecumenical dialogue and the Pentecostal and Charismatic traditions. He edited Fuller Voices: Then and Now.
