In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ishaque (peace be upon him) in The Quran

Or were you witnesses when death approached Yaqoob (Jacob)? When he said unto his
sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We shall worship your Ilah (God), the
Ilah (God) of your fathers, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), One Ilah
(God), and to Him we submit (in Islam).” [002:133]

Say, “We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been
sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob), and to
Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), and that which has been given to Moosa
(Moses) and Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We
make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted.” [002:136]

Say, “Dispute you with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? And we are to be
rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. And we are sincere to Him in worship and
obedience”. [002:139]

Or say you that Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob) and
Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)) were Jews or Christians? Say, “Do you know
better or does Allah? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony he has
from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.” [002:140]

That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they
earned, and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do.
[002:141]

Say, “We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down
to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob) and Al-Asbat (the
twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)) and what was given to Moosa (Moses), Iesa (Jesus) and the
Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to
Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam).” [003:084]

Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nooh (Noah) and the
Prophets after him; We inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac),
Yaqoob (Jacob), and AlAsbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job),
Yoonus (Jonah), Haroon (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawood (David) We gave
the Zaboor (Psalms). [004:163]

And We bestowed upon him (Ibrahim (Abraham)) Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), each
of them We guided, and before him, We guided Nooh (Noah), and among his progeny
Dawood (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Yoosuf (Joseph), Moosa (Moses), and
Haroon (Aaron). Thus do We reward the gooddoers. [006:084]

And verily, there came Our Messengers to Ibraheem (Abraham) with glad tidings.They said:
Salam (greetings or peace!) He answered, Salam and he hastened to entertain them with a
roasted calf. [011:069]

But when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them,
and conceived a fear of them. They said: “Fear not, we have been sent against the people
of Lout (Lot).” [011:070]

And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed. But We gave her glad tidings of
Ishaque (Isaac), and after him, of Yaqoob (Jacob). [011:071]

She said (in astonishment): “Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman,
and here is my husband, an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!” [011:072]

They said: “Do you wonder at the Decree of Allah? The Mercy of Allah and His Blessings be
on you, O the family (of Ibraheem (Abraham)). Surely, He (Allah) is All-Praiseworthy, All-
Glorious.” [011:073]

“Thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of dreams (and other
things) and perfect His Favour on you and on the offspring of Yaqoob (Jacob), as He
perfected it on your fathers, Ibraheem (Abraham) and Ishaque (Isaac) aforetime! Verily,
your Lord is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” [012:006]

“And I have followed the religion of my fathers, - Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac) and
Yaqoob (Jacob), and never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to Allah. This is from
the Grace of Allah to us and to mankind, but most men thank not. [012:038]

“All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has given me (Ibrahim (Abraham)) in old age
Ismail (Ishmael) and Ishaque (Isaac). Verily! My Lord is indeed the All-Hearer of invocations.
[014:039]

So when he (Ibrahim (Abraham)) had turned away from them and from those whom they
worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), and each one
of them We made a Prophet. [019:049]

And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac), and Yaqoob (Jacob). Each one We made
righteous. [021:072]

And We made them leaders, guiding (mankind) by Our Command, and We inspired in them
the doing of good deeds, performing Salat (prayer), and the giving of Zakat (charity) and of
Us (Alone) they were worshippers. [021:073]

And We bestowed on him (Ibrahim (Abraham)), Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), and
ordained among his offspring Prophethood and the Book, and We granted him his reward in
this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous. [029:027]

I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His
servant and messenger

And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous.
[037:112]

We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and
some that plainly wrong themselves. [037:113]

And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Yaqoob (Jacob), owners
of strength and of religious understanding. [038:045]

Verily, We did choose them by granting them the remembrance of the home (Hereafter).
[038:046]

And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! [038:047]
