• Jan 2007 – Till Date – ENIL, Radio Mirchi, Kolhapur – Finance Manager

ENIL (Radio Mirchi) is largest private FM radio broadcaster in India based on the number of operating stations
(32 stations in major cities) and listeners. Having annual turnover of Rs. 417.00 Crores 2007/08

Key Responsibilities – Financial risk assessment including internal control at the branch and timely flagging off
the same through various report generation and analysis – thus helping the top management to take informed
and efficient decisions.

Report Generation and Analysis –


 Revenue accounting, yield tracking and analysis as per A basis and B basis revenue which ascertains the
revenue of the station and also the effective rate of the station for the month.
 Monitoring of age-wise debtors and monthly collection plan to ensure effective realization.
 Budget preparation by collating bottom-up inputs and top-down approvals. Thereafter, tracking of expenses
against specified heads and controlling of the same through suggesting measures to minimize the variance.
 Preparing Branch P&L to ascertain the profitability.

Controlling Authority at the Branch –


 Checking of internal documents in accordance to the company policies as per audit compliance.
 Controlling the credit through ascertaining clients’ credit limits and checking of the same thus ensuring that
the campaign is acceptable.
 To ensure play list report for copyright board, along with calculations of the royalties payable to the
concerned authorities.
 Cost control reduction measures suggested and implemented.
 Developing various MIS reports for the corporate to help them understand and streamline branch
performance – e.g., - marketing reconciliation report, sales ratio analysis report, revenue receipt report,
station compliance report, credit analysis report etc.

Others –
 Setting up of the entire financial systems during the pre-operational stage and instrumental in acquiring the
statutory broadcast license like Wireless Planning and Co-ordination (WPC) issued by Minister of
Communications and IT. Also filing of caveats for the legal issues with PPL and IVRS to comply with the
regulations.
 Ensure statutory compliances with respect to shop and establishment and professional tax, service tax
department and also compliance with other accounting deadlines.
 Charted internal control system for non-utility subsidiaries that pointed out system weaknesses and reduced
loss risk.
 Co-ordinating with the various functions to provide required inputs to the audit team to ensure smooth audit
at the branch.
 The recommendations of the audit are implemented in consultation with the functional heads for the
betterment of business processes and activities.
 Monitoring of vendor accounts and responsible for timely payment disbursement for the bills payable.

• May 1999 to Jan 2007 working as “Sr. Officer (Finance)” in Accounts & Finance division of
Warana Milk Union.

It is a HACCP and ISO 9001-9002 Certified unit having annual turnover of Rs. 375.00 Crores. Big giant in
Dairy Industry and works for its clients like Cadbury India Ltd, Cipla Ltd, Mother Dairy, Acadima
International Ltd, Egypt etc.

Key Area Responsibility – Co-ordination of means of finance from various banks, financial institutions
& Govt Authorities as per requirement of organization & all necessary steps to repayment of said loans
under guidance of Gen.Manager Finance

Report Generation and Analysis –


 Preparing monthly, quarterly & Yearly Financial Statements i.e. Trading Profit & Loss A/c and Balance
Sheet.
 Analysis of the FS- Ratio Analysis, Cash Flow Statement, Funds Flow Statements etc.
 Quarterly CMA statements & all the concern documents to submit various Banks & Financial statements
for raising the funds (Indian & Foreign Banks) under guidance of Finance consultant
 Quarterly Funds Utilization Reports, DIPA Corpus Quarterly Interest Utilization Report as per the A to G
Categories norms set by NDDB. Also Submit information on Internet Based Dairy Information (IDIS)
System
 Department wise & Branch wise Budget preparation, & monitor the same to taking the corrective measures
to minimize the variance.
 Preparing reports related to Foreign Loan i.e. ECB 2, ECB 3, form A2 & Statement of Utilization of
Foreign loan

Third Party operations –

 Dealing as Company Representative with our valuable clients Cadbury India Ltd. (CIL) & Mother Dairy
Delhi. Submit all the necessary information & Documents require for preparing yearly agreements with
them
 Prepare Malt based & Milk Products conversion bills of 10 days & 15 days of CIL and Mother Dairy. Also
follow up for the payments.
 One of the Committee Member of DIPA Corpus fund (NDDB) of All Maharashtra Dairy Association.
 Working on Development of ERP system concern with Finance & Accounts Department module under
guideline of consultant
Others –
 Submit monthly milk & milk products Closing Stock & its valuation for loan against the stock.
 Assist to Gen.Manager (Costing) for costing of Milk and Milk Products, Cattle Feed, Co-Generation, Malt
Based Products, Fruit Based Products etc.
 Assist to Gen. Manager Finance for year ending Account finalization & consolidation of branches & Head
office financial statements.
 Assist continues internal Audit and Statutory Audit. Submit various financial information’s according to
their prescribed formats.
 Monitor the entire process of conversion charges of one of the 100% EOU Fruit processing Units
WAGPCOS.
 Quarterly Follow up Report to SICOM for getting the advantage Service Tax exemption
 Head office & Branch wise Deprecation Statement
