Functionality is a fundamental, individuality is the future The xEnergy switchboard system consists of IEC/EN 60439 type-tested function modules. These have an internal separation up to Form 4, and comply with various national or regional installation requirements, such as DIN VDE, CEI, NF or UNE. This means you can design customised solutions for use in several different countries. The xEnergy system offers you a wide range of options for implementing power distribution reliably, economically and fully in accordance with your customers requirements. You can use feeder and coupling sections for circuit-breakers up to 4000 A, and individually equipped outgoer sections with fixed compartment modules for switching and protective devices up to 630 A. Outgoer sections up to 630 A for switch-fuse strips, fuse rails and fuse switch-disconnectors are also available. Control sections and empty sections can be combined as required for installing ancillary components such as motor starters, PFC modules, frequency inverters, soft starters or for automa-

tion solutions. The mounting systems for rail-mounted service installation devices can be used in conventional service distribution boards. The express list allows fast projecting of the most frequent applications without using any additional aids such as catalogues or Confix.

The PKZ2 with remote control R...-PKZ2 cannot be installed. The PKZM4 with front-mounted normal contactor relay NHI-E-... cannot be installed; please use sidemounted contactor relays. The installation of a GSTA is only possible without a front panel or when using a front panel without a cut-out. The mounting kit includes aluminium DIN-rails and a set of fastening material; for Form 2b, XME...M mounting plates must be added as partitions. The S...PKZ... drive and CL-... power limiter ... cannot be installed.

Information on selecting, projecting and assembly that must be given particular consideration
General inofrmation valid for all sections:
Copper for main busbars, distribution bars and circuit breaker busbars (NZM4 / IZM) is not included in the scope of delivery. Please pay attention to the information on terminal systems and connections to main busbar systems detailed in Moellers instructions BA4810-0015 on TTA assemblies. Please note the current reduction values with regard to the rated currents stated, see Moellers special catalogue FK4810-1143, chapter 14. In addtion, all the data of the switch-fuse unit and fuse bar manufacturers must be taken into account as well. If you wish to add any units to the switchgear, always refer to the catalogue or call the product support to check whether they are compatible. Please give special consideration to the increased section width required when using an IZM with mechanical locking. Example: IZM size 1 with mechanical locking system can only be installed in the 600 mm wide section (not in the 425 mm section). For additional accessories (e.g. bottom panels, ) please refer to Moellers special catalogue FK4810-1143

Power Sections for Incomers and Outgoers with 800 - 3200 A Circuit Breakers
Please order IZM circuit breakers and optional equipment separately from the HPL0211 catalogue, chapter IZM. The IZM-XRT door sealing frame and - for IP55 - the IZM-XDT protective cover must always be ordered separately. Please order NZM4 circuit breakers and optional equipment separately from the HPL0211 catalogue, chapter NZM.

Outgoing Sections for Compact Circuit Breakers of Type NZM 1 - 3 up to 630 A

For instructions on how to connect the switchgear to the sectional distribution bar system, please refer to Moellers assembly instructions in BA 4810-015. In order to meet Form 4b requirements, it might be necessary to plan some additional terminals. Front plates can only be used for Form 4 sections. Mounting plates for NZM and PKZ switchgear are sized for the basic versions of these devices. Whether it is possible to install additional equipment (e.g. contactor relays) or not must be checked on the basis of the dimensioned drawings in Moellers special catalogue FK4810-1143, chapter 15.
