crotonaldehyde; carbon monoxide(CO)adipic acid Hazardous Polymerization: Does not occur.

Section 4- hazards identification

Target Organs: None. Eye: May cause eye irritation. Skin: May cause skin irritation. Ingestion: No more than slightly toxic if swallowed. Inhalation: No more than slightly toxic if inhaled.

Section 5 first aid measures

Take proper precautions to ensure your own health and safety before attempting to rescue and providing first aid. These practices include avoiding all unnecessary exposure and removal of the material from eye, skin, and clothing.

Inhalation: If symptoms are experienced, move victim to fresh air, if symptoms persist, obtain medical
attention.

Eye Contact: Wash eyes with clean low-pressure water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Skin Contact: If powdered or dust form of the material contacts the skin, immediately flush the skin
with large amounts of water. If irritation or other symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Ingestion: Adverse health effects due to ingestion are not anticipated. If gastric irritation or discomfort persists, seek medical advice.

Section 6- fire fighting measures

General Information: In the event of a fire, wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved selfcontained breathing apparatus with full face-piece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode. Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical, alcohol foam or Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Not known

Section 7 accidental release measures

Spills/Leaks: Vacuum or sweep up material and store in an appropriate container
for disposal. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing.

Section 8 handling and storage

Handling: Handing in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices.
These practices include avoiding unnecessary exposure and removal of material from skin and eyes. Storage: Storage in below 250c Storage in a clean, dry place

Section 9 - Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Eye: Safety glasses are recommended to prevent particulate matter from entering eyes
while grinding or machining. Skin: Protective gloves are required when handling hot polymer. Also, long sleeve cotton shirt and long pants if handling molten polymer. Ventilation: Local exhaust at processing equipment to assure that particulate levels are kept at recommended levels. Respirator: This material is not likely to present an airborne exposure concern under normal condition of use. Use approved respiratory protection equipment when airborne exposure is excessive.

Section 10 - Toxicological Information

Causes eye and skin irritation. May be harmful by inhalation, ingestion, or skin absorption. Carcinogenicity: Polyvinyl Butyral is not classifiable as to (its) carcinogenicity in humans".

Section 11 - Ecological Information

Ecotoxicity: Ecotoxicity is expected to be low based on the low water solubility of polymers. No other
information is known on this topic.

Section 12 - Disposal Considerations

Whatever cannot be saved for recovery or recycling should be managed in an appropriate and approved waste disposal facility. Dispose of as a non-hazardous solid waste.

Section 13 - Transport Information

This product is not classified as dangerous goods according to the international regulations for transport by land, inland waterway, sea and air.
