ABOUT SCHELTEMA

Scheltema is flexible in that it addresses the needs of the industrial, commercial and residential markets within southern
Africa. Our Industrial Roofing and Suspended Ceilings divisions typically attend to the requirements of the Industrial
and Commercial sectors. Our Domestic Roofing and Skimmed Ceilings divisions focus on the demands of the residential
market. A selection of high profile contracts includes Century City, the V&A Waterfront, Newlands Rugby and Cricket
Sports Grounds and the Houses of Parliament. Whilst the bulk of our work is done locally, the company has successfully
completed major contracts both nationally and internationally.

A BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD

Scheltema has recently welcomed and encouraged a number of positive changes. We have embarked on an ambitious
training program with the aim of up-skilling and empowering our staff. Further, a major renovation has afforded us
increasing office capacity with new training facilities and improved recreational space. As we gear up for 2010 and
beyond, we continue in our quest to build highly rewarding, sustainable relationships. We are proud of the journey that

DOMESTIC ROOFING
The Domestic Roofing Division specializes in the supply, installation and waterproofing of various metal,
cement, clay and slate roofing systems. Applications are typically a mix of large commercial contracts,
housing developments and independent houses. We also specialize in the renewal of existing roofs for builders
or private homeowners. Significant contracts in the Western Cape include: City Hall | Archive Building | Dolphin Beach
Hotel | Century City Complex.

The Industrial Roofing Division specializes in the supply and installation of all types of steel, aluminium and fibre
cement sheet roofing, cladding and insulation systems on the larger industrial and commercial projects. This
division has been involved in numerous major projects over the years with reference to many landmarks
nationally and internationally. Significant contracts include: Century City Shopping Centre | Newlands Rugby and
Cricket Grounds | Tygervalley Shopping Centre | Cape Town International Airport | Bellville Velodrome | Cape Town

The Skimmed Ceilings Division specializes in the supply and installation of Rhinoboard ceilings skimmed with cretestone
plaster for the residential market. Applications are typically a mix of large commercial contracts, housing developments

[Clifton] | Drill Hall [Cape Town] | Phezula Resort Hotel [Knysna].

SUSPENDED CEILINGS
The Suspended Ceilings Division specializes in the supply and installation of all Ceiling and Partition (C&P) systems
available nationally. C&P systems enclose spaces, hide services, and provide insulation barriers, platform lighting,
ventilation services and lightweight re-usable walls. Years of experience within this very intricate field leave us
ideally positioned to offer specialist product knowledge to customers in the early stages of the design and planning
process. Significant contracts in the Western Cape include: Nelson Mandela Museum | Cape Town International
Convention Centre | Caucus Rooms [Tuynhuis] | Cape Gate Shopping Centre.
