Observation: During your observation, notice how many students use technology and how technology is being used.

Observations can be recorded in narrative form. You may include the information gathered from the questions raised below: 1. How familiar are the students with the technology? The students are not totally familiar with the technology. 2. What kinds of software are the students using? The students are using operating system 3. Are the students really engaged in their activities? Yes. 4. How does the teacher interact with the students with the use of technology? By the use of technology the teacher interact with the students through the use of presentations, and other computerized system to make their discussion more pleasant, lively, and attractive to the students. 5. What are the other materials used by the students along with computers? Projectors I. Teacher Question: Try to arrange to interview the teacher for a few minutes about his/her use of technology. Ask questions such as the following: 1. What kinds of thing do you see technology for? 2. Do you think technology has been useful for your students? -Yes. 3. What kinds of technologies would you like to have in your class? -Computers, projectors and other automated audio/visual materials. 4. How good is the support that you get at a school, districts or division level for working with technology? 5. What innovations have you introduced with the use of technology?

Students ask questions Ask permission from the teacher to interview one student from the class. Ask questions such as the following: 1. Do you like using technology? Yes. 2. What do you like to do most with the help of technology?

I like to use the computers for hands-on explorations. 3. What kinds of technology would you like to have in the class that you do not have now? 4. Does the technology make you learn? In what ways? Yes. Technology brings a more interactive way of learning to us. It catches our attention. Through the use of technology discussion is well delivered and more understandable to us. Make a reflection! Based on your observations and interviews make a reflection on the following: a. The level of technology used in the classroom - Is not enough to sustain the needs of students. b. The learning outcomes derived from the technology use - Is more c. Your suggestions if you are the one teaching with the use of technology - My suggestion is, the teachers must learn more how to use the technology, not only for the students sake but also for him/her. d. Your overall reflections on the technology and innovative teaching - The use of technology in the classroom is a big help for cultivating the minds of the students. To use the technology more efficiently the teachers must study or learn more some alternative ways of interactive discussion using the technology. Self check questions I.
