B. Design Maximum 6 points

You will now choose 3 different ways to share your knowledge that you have developed over the last few weeks with the tasks that you have completed in 3D Game Lab. 1 List 3 different tools that you can use to create your presentation (Prezi, Voicethread, etc.): a Microsoft PowerPoint b Google Presentations c Prezi 2 Make yourself a list of required items for your Google Apps for Education presentation: a Must demonstrate your knowledge of Google Apps for Education b Must include all components of Google Apps for Education c Must be approximately 10 minutes long d Must be engaging e Must include a bibliography with sources properly cited using MLA format f Must answer this question: How can I use the Google Apps for education online tools to incorporate all my work, for all my middle years subjects, to best organise and take advantage of the digital age?" g Must include a video demonstration h Must catch your eye. i Must be factual 3 Make yourself a list of desirable items for your Google Apps for Education presentation: a animations b rehearsed timings c Nice text d Google presentations e Animoto

C. Plan Maximum 6 points

For the plan stage, you will: 1) Present in detail what resources (materials, tools, equipment, etc.) you will need: I will need a computer and a charger. I will also need to know all the sights that I have been on to so I can make my video out of everything I learnt. 2) Present clear steps on how you will create your Google Apps for Education presentation: I will first plan my video presentation out on paper and then I will get each sight on my tabs bar and then I will tell a little about each and what they do. 3) Add time needed, planned dates and when each step will be accomplished. Underneath is number 3.
Time Plan: (Estimate time in minutes, approximately, needed for each step.) Steps to do: 1. Turn on computer 2. Enter google chrome 3. Go to 3d gamelab 4. Find the final quest 5. Plan the video 6. Go to screencast o'matic Time in min. Date due:

D. Create Maximum 6 points Create the presentation Task 1: Use Appropriate Techniques and Equipment Follow your plan! Update your plan when you complete a task. Enter the date, and/or new boxes in different colour when you complete a task. When you complete tasks and the time is different to your plan, explain the reasons why. Justify any other changes made to your plan, no matter how small.

Task 2: Follow the Plan Keep a process journal, with photographs, videos and brief explanations while making your presentation. EACH LESSON! Explain what went well what went wrong, what problems you solved and what you need to do next lesson.

E. Evaluate Maximum 6 points For the evaluate stage, you will: 1. Take a look at the specifications that you wrote in the Investigate stage. A) Are you happy with the outcome? Explain in detail. I am very happy with my final project because I planned it out well and I stuck to my plan. It included all of what I had learned from the 3d gamelab and little extra bits. It was recorded well and was very informative. B) Did anything change? What changed? Why did it change? A few things changed in my video, for example I didnt open all the tabs and scroll through them, I just typed them in and went like that. The reason I changed that was because I couldnt find all the tabs on my practice video because there were too many so I relied on good internet to just type the website in and get me there. C) Was something left out from the original plan? Why? Nothing was left out of my plan because I had planned everything ready and I knew what to do. D) Is there anything you would change about your final product (invention) if you had more time or could rewind and do things over? What & why? I would have done the video recording again because there was background noise and it was very sensitive, so whenever I moved it picked the sound up. 2. What are 3 things you learned from this project? 1. I learned how to use igoogle. 2. I learned how to use all of my apps not just docs (e.g. google calendar). 3. I learned how to use screencast o matic and record things on my computer screen. 3. How would you rate your performance and involvement? (Place an x in the box that corresponds) Rarely Sometimes Often Always

Process Journal: This I.T. class I have been working on my final quests and looking at what I have to and started on my Criterion B write up. I think I am on the right track spreading out my work because I have finished most of the quests on the 3D Gamelab and am now just doing all the criterion. This I.T. class I finished the Google Reader quest and now have to do the final project. I am still working on the final project and all the criterion except criterion A which is the quests. I have finished all the quests and am ready to start to the final project. This I.T. class I have been updated that there are new quests to complete so I have been working on my calendar for all my subjects. It is difficult to make the calendar

because you have to add all your classes for every day. I dont think it is needed to add all your classes because we already have a planner and were not going to pull our laptops out of our bag to see what class we have next. The calendar all around is really good though. I notifies you when there is an event going on. So far this is what my calendar looks like.

I finished my calendar today and it is a busy one. Here is my new finished calendar.

This I.T. class I have been working on the google shopping apps quest. This is a really good quest in my opinion because you get to choose what you want for your homepage and there is a huge variety to choose from. This is a good quest because you can learn about all the apps for different things that you could use to help you.

I am now starting my final project. I have made the outlines for it and I just have to record it. I am also finishing my evaluate and plan stage. I have finished the final video for the last quest on the 3d gamelab. It is about 7 minutes long and is very informative. It was easy to make because I made a brainstorm on a sheet of paper and looked at it for the sites I wanted to go to.
