Which is presented by Sd.Saleem Kalesha & M.Madhan Kishore. This project is mentored by P V Dharmarajan (Associate Professor in the MBA & Soft Skills Training department) This project is all about how a sensor can be developed by easy means with a small circuitry using wires and logical connection and disconnection to the left and right motors. the LED on the top displays that the power is IN the circuit. Today in most of the costly cars we see that sensor circuits are present which are manufactured by VLSI (Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits) technology. This model is an example of how cost can be controlled and efficiency increased with simple ingenuity. First, let us take a look at the car. My assistant and one of the members of our team will demonstrate it as I speak. The car is battery powered for now which leaves room for improvement. When the switch is turned on the LED on the top burns giving a signal that the power has entered the circuit. The when left on the ground actually runs. It has good speed also. Now we will demonstrate the sensor of the car which is the highlight of the project which has been developed by us with logic circuit. Our team had worked day and night in building the circuit even thought we are MECH students we decided to take as a challenge and designed as guided by our mentor. We would assume that the car is now running and it hits a block. this causes the connection to be disconnected. Let the motor on the left hits an object, then the right wheel stops spinning. As a result the vehicle turns to the right thereby avoiding the object. similar is the case when the object is reversed. Just to make the audience see the difference, we have modified the circuit a little and you will notice that the LED no longer burns. Places where this technology can be used : Companies that have goods to be transported from one alley to another alley can use this technology as a time saving device. For example, goods are loaded in the trolley and left . the trolley navigates itself to the other end where it is unloaded. So it saves labour as well as cost for the company.

The next version will have four motors so that it will also have the ability to reverse itself on its own and then take another direction.
