Description
The TG33K213T is a revolutionary AC generator design intended for standard single phase 240V 60Hz AC power. Its small form factor over conventional self-excited generators makes this generator extremely attractive for drive train applications and compact generator systems. At about a fifth to a tenth the weight of a standard generator of the same 33kw output it is truly astonishing. The power density is on the order of nine times that of standard self-excited designs. The power density is similar to an equivalent superconducting generator. In addition it boasts a 100% overload surge capacity without harm if the prime mover can handle the extra reaction

torque. It runs much cooler than standard generators and self-regulates the output voltage typically to within 10% of the open circuit voltage. The output voltage waveform is a nearly pure sine wave with less than 1% harmonic distortion (typically about 0.5%). At full rated load the distortion with resistive loads is still under 1%. The mechanical to electrical conversion efficiency is >90% at full rated load and at a 50% average load the efficiency exceeds 97% as proven in third party independent testing. This generator design can be scaled up or down and be provided in any power level from under 1Kw to 1Mw.
