Enlightened Scholars gain bonus 0th level spell slots equal to the Enlightened Scholars Wisdom Modifier Folk Magic (Requires Brandish Magical Might and 5 ranks in Spellcraft): His studies with the lore of the common folk enable the enlightened scholar to become a unique spellcaster. He gains the ability to cast and ready certain spells. The enlightened scholar may choose to know any Divine or Arcane Spell from the divination, conjuration (healing), necromancy, and illusion schools of magic and any spells with the darkness, light, and mind affecting descriptors (regardless of school of magic), provided he can cast spells of that level (see the table). Any of which he can cast spontaneously up to the maximum number of spell slots available to him for each given level. To prepare or cast a spell, an enlightened scholar must have a Wisdom score of at least 10 + the spells level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against an enlightened scholar's spell is 10 + the spells level + the enlightened scholar's Wisdom modifier. An enlightened scholar's spells always have both somatic and verbal components. Bonus spells for enlightened scholars are based on Wisdom. The enlightened scholars spellcaster level is equal to his class level -3; +1 for each enlightened knowledge ability selected from the folk magic knowledge tree; his spellcaster level may never exceed his enlightened scholar class level. Folk Magic. The ranks for each additional time are Minor (2nd), Lesser (3rd),Advanced (4th), Greater (5th), Master (6th), and Legendary (7th). Each time it is taken, the enlightened scholar gains one additional spell slot of any level he can currently cast and and one spell known of any level he can currently cast.
