Mens Wearhouse Self-Measurement Instructions

You will need:

1. Someone to assist you. If youre determined and creative enough with the tape measure, you can get your measurements close enough to have the right sizes delivered. But, ideally, you should have someone assist you. 2. A tailors tape measure. If you dont have a tailors tape measure, you can make one in about 10 minutes. Click here to print one. 3. Wear a fitted dress shirt tucked into a pair of slacks. If you dont have these, any clothing that is form fitting and not bulky will do. Avoid jeans and belts, as these will throw off your measurements.

How to measure:
1. Make sure the tape is flat against the body. It should be snug but not tight. 2.Round all measurements to the nearest quarter inch (1/4 or .25). Dont add any extra breathing roomwhen you get the item tailored, well adjust it to be comfortable.

Measurement 1: Shoulders
Measure the over arm with the tape measure around the widest part of your shoulders with your arms down. Enter your over arm measurement: ________

Measurement 2: Waist
Measure the waist near the navel just above the hip bones. The measuring tape should be snug (do not measure over your belt). Men's dress slacks are to be worn above the hipbone on the natural waist (at about the height of the navel) for a proper fit. Enter your waist size: _______

Measurement 3: Height
Enter your height without shoes: ________

Now, using the Suit and Blazer Size Chart below, find your Over Arm and Waist measurements (on the left) to find your Suit and Blazer Size. Then, find your height range (to the right) to determine your true Suit and Blazer Size. For example, if your over arm measurement is 44.5, your waist is 32 and your height is 511, your true suit and blazer size is 38 Regular, or 38R as highlighted below.

Dress Shirt Measurement Instructions

You only need TWO measurements to determine your fitted dress shirt size. Dress shirts are probably the easiest thing to buy and replenish online. Once you know your size, theyre simple to order and dont require any further tailoring. To determine your dress shirt size, you need your neck and sleeve measurements.

Lets get started!

Measurement 1: Neck
Take your shirt neck measurement at the point where your buttoned collar would be, just below the Adams apple. The tape should be flat against your skin with two fingers on the inside of the tape. This allows for an appropriate amount of space for comfort when buttoned. Enter your neck size: ________. Dress shirts come in half-inch increments, so round up to the nearest half-inch for your dress shirt neck size (14 = 14 ). Enter your final dress shirt neck size: _________.

Measurement 2: Dress Shirt-Sleeve Length

Let your arms hang naturally at your sides. Measure the sleeve length from behind the center of your neck, over the top of the shoulder and down to the break in the wrist. Make sure your arm is hanging naturally at your side. Enter your sleeve length: _________. Now enter the nearest whole numbers that flank your dress shirt-sleeve measurement. For example: 35 = 35/36 dress shirt-sleeve. Enter your final dress shirt-sleeve size:______/______.

Now, using the Dress Shirt Size Chart, find your neck size and check your sleeve-length availability.
