A PROJECT SYNOPSIS ON

WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER

Introduction

This project is used to transfer power wirelessly. Means One system is generating wireless power derived from AC mains via Transformer and Receiver kit is used to receive this power and convert into usable voltage & current and glow group of LEDs. Maximum wireless received distance 9 inches (very little power received).1 inches (full power received)..... transmitter with power supply of 12 v transformer.

AIM OF THE PROJECT

The objective of this project is to make a wireless energy transmitter with tariff system through 555 IC. This is a type of data transfer through wireless communication by using 555 IC. This system will be useful for the EB people to transmit the data from the consumer place to EB without going directly to the consumer place. This particular system will transmit the number of units consumed by the consumer as well as the amount has to pay for the month.

WORKING OF THE PROJECT

Means One system is generating wireless power derived from AC

mains via Transformer. And Receiver kit is used to receive this power and converts into usable voltage & current and glow group of LEDs. Here we are used 555 astable. One transmitter kit transmits power and second kit receives this transmitted power. An astable multivibrator, often called a free-running multivibrator, is a rectangular-wave generating circuit. Unlike the monostable multivibrator, this circuit does not require any external trigger to change the state of the output, hence the name free-running. Before going to make the circuit, make sure your 555 IC is working. For that go through the article: How to test a 555 IC for working An astable multivibrator can be produced by adding resistors and a capacitor to the basic timer IC, as illustrated in figure. The timing during which the output is either high or low is determined by the externally connected two resistors and a capacitor.

APPLICATION:
This project is very useful for EB office because there is no need of employee to take EB reading to every house.
