Installation of power cable by ensuring that color code blue should be positive that carries 48volts and black carries 0 volts. Maximum working current should be 6.5amperes to protect the ATN radio. Installation of the E1 cable from the ATN to the DDF rack. Installation of the optic fiber which should pick the link from the far end. Ensuring that the routing of power and grounding cable should be separate from the signal cable. Its mandatory to ensure proper power supply and current to the ATN radio. The cables should be labeled to ensure proper routing and identification in time of maintenance. Checking all the termination made for cable connectivity like power, E1 and Optic fiber Report drafting and writing.

November 2012-January 2013: ORANGE INALA Technologies Installation under QTE Main duties

Configuring of SAM2 version from V2.26 to V2.34 by uploading the new version to comply with the standards of the SAM2 version.
Terminating all the site alarms to where they are monitored and this includes; motion sensors, gate sensors, fuel probes, tank lid sensor, water sensor, ACM, Utility grid meter , MPF are all monitored at the SAM2 RMS02 units. Running all alarms cables through underground conduits by ensuring that they are laid at about 6 inches down. Termination of mains phase and frequency(MPF) to monitor the mains or phase related failures. Monitoring of generators and mains contacts on load plus running(the mains could be running but not loading or generator could be running but not loading so we need to monitor both running and loading). Ensuring that the voltage powering the SAM2 RMSO3 should be 48Vdc from battery backup system. Utility grid should also be monitored to ensure and establish power consumption at the site. All alarms(motion and gate sensor) are terminated to the cable termination unit(CTU) at SAM2 RMS03 where they are monitored at the NOC centre. Motion sensor is configured in such a way that it views the gate, generator any movements at the site. By using proper color coding to ensure safety and operation of the systems and units. Motion sensor is installed in a way that it has to be at about 1.8 meters above ground level to ensure proper functionality.

September -November 2012 WARID Site Installation under SIYO electronics Main Duties: Setting up link between the far end and near end by ensuring proper power to the ODUs of about approx. 3.4Volts. Creating and making connectors for IF and feeder cables for microwave and panel antennas.

Upgrade of site coverage and increasing in the channels by creating in E1. Earthing all the equipments on the sites to ensure safety by using proper earthing kits like earthing rod and earthing bar for general earthing. Bonding of connectors, earthing points of feeders and IF to ensure proof from water. Running the RF cables from panel to the transmission cabinet( involves jumper cables and feeder cables). Running power cables for both AC power and DC power from DB and Batteries respectively. Powering the site equipments by ensuring proper power to ensure that no equipment is blown. Hoisting of panel antenna to the correct poles of the tower to ensure proper coverage to the right azimuth. Ensuring that the panel is at the correct coverage and to face where is densely populated area with correct MDT.
