Stage/Time
Teaching and Learning Activities Teachers Activities Teacher shows to pupils two different animals. Teacher asks pupils the different between the two animals. Teacher explains about two different animals that are pet and pests. Teacher asks pupils to list out names of pets and pests. Teacher calls out a few pupil to categorize the animals into 2 group. Pupils Activities Pupils name the animals shown by teacher. Pupils answer the question given by teacher.
Step 1 10 minutes
Pupils list out name of pets and pests and write the words on the whiteboard. A few pupils chosen by teacher categorize the animals into two. Pupils pronounce the words. Pupils find meaning of the words and write on the board.
Step 2 10 minutes
Teacher introduces 5 words they will find in the text. Using their dictionary, teacher asks pupils to find
Step 3 12 minutes
the meaning of words. Teacher asks pupils to read the text and answer the True/False independently. questions
Pupils read and answer the questions given. In groups, pupils do the task given by teacher. Pupils present their answers.
Closure 3 minutes -
Teacher facilitates the group work session. Teacher revises the new vocabulary words. Teacher emphasizes on the lesson. Pupils pay attention to
