2012 Ranking: 71st Largest Export Market for U.S. Goods (2011: 67th)
The United States and Algeria signed a Trade and Investment Framework Agreement in 2001. While 2011 data showed an increase in bilateral trade, U.S. goods exports to Algeria totaled $1.36 billion in 2012, a 14.6 percent decrease from 2011, and Algerian goods exports to the U.S. fell by 31.6 percent from 2011 to $9.99 billion.
