2012 Ranking: 79th Largest Export Market for U.S. Goods (2011: 65th)
In recent years, the U.S. has established itself as Lebanons top trading partner, partly as a result of the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement signed between the two countries in 2006. In 2012, Lebanons exports to the U.S. grew by 2.35 percent to $81.19 million, while U.S. goods exports to Lebanon fell by 42.3 percent to $1.04 billion. Top three export sectors to the U.S. included Food & Kindred Products (at $24.56 million), Goods Returned (at $13.45 million), and Miscellaneous Manufactured Commodities (at $10.7 million).
