CONDITIONALS

1. The following sentences contain mistakes. Rewrite them so that they are correct.

a) I´ll lend you my scarf provided you don´t lose it.

3. Mixed conditionals: Match columns A and B to form mixed conditionals.

b) If he realised how little work she does, 2) he´d be rich by now.
c) If he wasn´t going on holiday tomorrow, 3) he´d have fired her long ago.

4. Rewrite the following using mixed conditionals as in the example.

a) I don´t have a secretary, so I did all the typing myself.


If I had a secretary, I wouldn´t have done all the typing myself.
b) He didn´t follow my advice; that´s why the work isn´t finished yet.
